Yeah, he does seem socially awkward but I feel we are missing some details that Neil can't say without making himself look worse. For example, did he get some previous IOIs that the girl is now denying? There is some reason why Neil thought he had a chance here and wonder if this is a case of the assistant simply getting cold feet as Neil's social awkwardness became apparent?
One obvious explanation for him not noticing her reply story about sexual harassment would be if he actually had blue-pilled nice guy chump intentions and thought she was the awkward one for bringing it up.
It's entirely possible that he was trying to treat her as a professional equal and a guest in his home, and that he made some remark about stress and hobbies which she blew out of proportion, because in her mind, it's impossible that a man was not trying to bang her.
I've said shit before that was interpreted by PC types as being about race, gender, disability, etc., when I had absolutely no intentions of the kind. I can see him dumbly thinking he's made a special connection as a mentor and being pleased with himself while she's neurotically convincing herself she's about to get raped.
I'll second this. I follow a strict "Don't shit where you eat" policy, and I can appreciate a woman's friendship, even if she's attractive.
Unlike Tyson (I hope) I make sure to screen for latent feminism/snowflakeism; and I hope that I have enough Game to recognize when a woman's working on a sexual level - when they're leveraging their sexuality to either collect some Beta Orbiters, and/or manipulate the Alpha Boss into giving them a promotion. Failing to play into their dynamic (as either Chad or Beta Bux) outrages them as much as a stripper whom you're ignoring in lieu of your delicious steak sandwich (you really think I came here for the tits, honey? Thousands of tits are just a click away on my phone, it's finding a good steak sandwich that peaks my interest). They feel slighted, or something, that you're neither worshipping at their feet nor gaming them into multiple orgasms. The audacity of treating them like a human being sends them into a tizzy.
So I'm friendly with women in the workplace, I even become outside friends with some of them, but I make sure to avoid the drama queens. I get the sense that Tyson tried to friend up a drama queen, and now he's reaping the whirlwind for his charity.
