I would say it is necessary but not sufficient.

Along with wealth is scientific advancement/technology. Modern appliances like refrigeration, transportation, electricity and so forth liberated woman from work. Ideal minds and hands are the devils place.
Hence how those communities who have rejected modern advances how not been severely affected by feminism.

There is definitely feminism in Japan and the rest of Asia. Just because women there are thin and generally ladylike doesn't mean there isn't a huge problem in gender dynamics over there. Like the problems we face in the West, they are best described as being caused by the sudden uptick in affluence and technology.
Modern Japanese society probably reached its peak sometime in 1980. Men were masculine and took pride in their work even as the demands of industrial society meant they had to work longer and longer hours. They had many male-only spaces to bond with their peers and superiors. Women were mostly housewives and could expect to become housewives even if they entered a large company, because they would be tasked with doing feminine service work in the office and eventually get hitched to a man of appropriate station. Jared Taylor, in his book Shadows of the Rising Sun, noted at the time (1980s) that the vast majority of Japanese women were still virgins at marriage.
Things have been going downhill from there. You can tell it just by looking at the sheer amount of weird alphabet soup stuff promoted in the mass media. Homosexual and transgender themes, as well as the creepy Japanese penchant for perversity in general, are everywhere, even in otherwise normal material. 1/4 of girls make porn. For those of you thinking that this is a recipe for a healthy, uncucked society, think about it for a moment: One in four women who are of marriageable age today have porn videos of themselves floating around the internet. That's feminism right there, it doesn't matter that it seeped in through the degenerate sexual culture and not the CultMarx academics (though Japan has a lot of academic Marxists to be sure).
As with the West, the deleterious influences of modern, feminized culture in Japan are most acutely reflected in its damaged, listless men. Over 1 million young Japanese men have shut themselves in their rooms to jerk off to fake anime girls and play computer games rather than go out and forge a path in life. Given that Japan only has like 10-15 million young men, this is a huge problem and indicates that hypergamy is destroying the Land of the Rising Sun from within.
While Japanese women still dress well and keep fit, don't think they haven't been infected with feminism. As with the sexually degenerate stuff, themes of girrrl power and "female agency" are everywhere. This is definitely not traditional Japan where the women would hand-sew Japanese flags with 武运长久 (Eternal fortune in battle) etched into them for their men to carry to war, ship them handmade snacks across the sea, or to prepared to jump off cliffs to avoid humiliation in the event of enemy invasion.
In this generation, they will import "guest workers" from SE Asia, who to the Japanese are pretty much like Arabs as to European whites. There are half a billion of them on overpopulated islands eager for better job opportunities and welfare. The "guests" are unlikely to leave as the liberated anti-patriarchy Japanese women and their cosmopolitan dandy boyfriends (some of them very well-placed) defend their "rights" to stay and compete with the native, aging populace.
The hypergamy and social rot in Japan, as anywhere else, is enabled and encouraged by the cancerous banking capitalism that forces all developed countries to keep up in a rat race to the bottom. Having intact borders and hygienic women is an ornamental fence against the globalist onslaught, not a self-contained fortification.

While I don't like feminism today and how it makes women think they do not need a man, please would somebody explain to me why we can't take the upside...
So many here want to travel to a poor country to game chicks where the women are not feminist. I like colombia because of how the chicks look, not because they are non feminist. What I don't like is the girls there being man dependent and especially financially on us. In the Western world men are screwed by marriage and divorce and the women have too many rights, but in Asia sure they maybe are more loyal but you sure as hell pay for it!! Having to support their entire family, thanks mr gingo!
I want a woman who is financially independent but is not a hardcore feminist, knows her place and would make a loyal wife, where on earth do you find them?
