Very true. AND, you'll also notice that in addition to playing the male/female game, they need to work in some brown people. SO, the director of HR is usually not only a woman, but a disproportionate amount of time its a minority woman.
"Internal Audit" is usually a brown male. That's because 1) it reports directly to the Board of Directors, so it appears super-senior, but 2) it's not really that impactful to the bottom line. No offense to my brown brothers, many of whom i count as friends. It's not your fault white SJWs have a ridiculous amount of self-hate and try to compensate for real or perceived injustices of centuries ago. I tell all my black and female friends to exploit the diversity system as much as possible! I sure would, if i didn't look too much like my avatar

On more than one occasion, a brown person i helped leverage the diversity game has gotten a senior position and helped me with a reference. So it goes both ways.
As for PR always being a woman, many many years ago a CEO I knew sneered "PR? That's just the girl with the biggest tits". And shortly after he said that, i looked around at the heads of PR for several companies I knew, and in more than one case it was a busty woman. LOL.
