Um...no. There is a lot of waste in corporate america, including nearly every job in HR and "Diversity and Inclusion". But 75% of jobs useless? Not in the companies i've worked. They were all "for profit". If its THAT obvious that a job is useless, its usually gone.

You are actually both in agreement, but the initial sentence had and has to be slightly modified, like that:

You could ask this question about 75% of all government, public-sector jobs. The answer would be: nothing

More surprisingly though, even in the private sector, a non-negligible amount of jobs are indeed fake, notably the "diversity" and "inclusive" jobs, but also other kinds of jobs, as the (big company) private sector is collaborating with the Establishment to keep people stupidly kinda happy in their office slavery.

So the real figures about fake-jobs are, I guess:

about 70% of all public-sector jobs. The answer would be: they do nothing.

about 25% of all big-company private sector jobs. The answer would be: they do nothing.

about 0% of all private small to medium business jobs. The answer would be: they do nothing.

Very true. AND, you'll also notice that in addition to playing the male/female game, they need to work in some brown people. SO, the director of HR is usually not only a woman, but a disproportionate amount of time its a minority woman.

"Internal Audit" is usually a brown male. That's because 1) it reports directly to the Board of Directors, so it appears super-senior, but 2) it's not really that impactful to the bottom line. No offense to my brown brothers, many of whom i count as friends. It's not your fault white SJWs have a ridiculous amount of self-hate and try to compensate for real or perceived injustices of centuries ago. I tell all my black and female friends to exploit the diversity system as much as possible! I sure would, if i didn't look too much like my avatar [Image: smile.gif] On more than one occasion, a brown person i helped leverage the diversity game has gotten a senior position and helped me with a reference. So it goes both ways.

As for PR always being a woman, many many years ago a CEO I knew sneered "PR? That's just the girl with the biggest tits". And shortly after he said that, i looked around at the heads of PR for several companies I knew, and in more than one case it was a busty woman. LOL.

I can't say I agree with that statement - in my experience the biggest pieces of shit have been male. Here's who's managed me over the last few years:
  • Mexican male - total SOB who everyone hated.
  • Mexican-American male - 2 faced SOB - nice to your face but fucks you over when it's review time
  • White female - only had her for a few weeks but she was OK
  • White/Filipino mix female - was OK overall but lied to my face one time when I asked her if she was offended by something, she said no. Then another manager said she was offended by the same thing.
  • White male - nice guy, but inept.
  • White female - fat, but OK. Not good or bad
  • Taiwanese female - fat, but pretty decent. She's the person who told me the VP was trying to fuck me over. The VP (who tried to get me fired) and his boss, who were both cunts were white males.
  • Chinese-American female - only had her for a few weeks before I left
  • Taiwanese-American female - She was hot but she was a total bitch. She left the company because she felt that the VP (2 faced fat fuck Indian American male) did not defend her in a team meeting when she got shitted on by the COO for something she wasn't responsible for. She later joined as a consultant in another department and must been making at least $100/hr
  • Sri-Lankan American male - had him very briefly - outwardly nice guy but threw me under the bus when the last manager joined.
  • Korean-American male - piece of shit who got me fired.
My current manager is a white/Filipino mix. She's blonde and looks white. She's in her 40s, but she would have been a 7 back in the day. She seems reasonable so far.

Corporate America brings the worst out of most people.

I've visited many small companies which make 7 or 8 figures a year who have hot admins, if you go to a company which makes 9 or 10 figures revenue that's usually not the case.

We don't have COO, diversity or PR positions, but the head of HR is a black woman. Our IT director is also a woman and she fucked up a software rollout to the tune of USD $70M and counting...

Pretty true really. I mean what drives the economy the most? Besides information (ie. news / Internet / media) it really comes down to manufacturing of widgets / pharmaceuticals / software, distribution of widgets / pharmaceuticals / software (in the retail sector widget distribution would be where Amazon has taken control) & services as a whole. Within the widget / pharmaceutical / software kingdom I'd say that engineers, scientists & certainly the business leaders (CEO's, COO's, CFO's) are at the top of the pyramid.

At the very highest end of services I guess you could say that includes fields such as medicine, law, etc. The financial industry (ie. Wall Street) at times resembles a giant Ponzi scheme that leeches off of the Fed (the organization that can whip up funny money at a moment's notice!)
