I was an incel in Republic of Georgia but in Zaporozhye I was getting a ton of dates (but I couldn't convince any women to go to my hotel room. Which seems to be a consistent thing in the former Soviet Union unless she's a prostitute? I think if I had a full 90 days here then I could probably get 3 to 5 FWBs I think after taking each out on 2 or 3 cheap dates).

I was in Zaporozhye for 3 days. Mostly because I am a history buff and I came to see the Cossack History. My biggest regret was not staying longer because now I am in Kiev and the female situation is worse (Tinder is full of Pros and I can't find any women who can meet me before 7 PM).

English

Probably some of the worst English in terms of restaurants and service workers. But it was ok because Uber was accepted within the city and I was able to get local women to do translations for me. Most young women on Tinder and on the street knew English (so they are immensely better than Russian women).

Girls

It was super easy to use Tinder. No hookers on the app in Zaporozhye (but Kiev Tinder is full of them). I had a lot of women who met me during the day (whereas in Kiev everyone on Tinder seems to be a workaholic and can only meet in the evening or later).


Foreign male competition

Almost no one from Western Europe or North America.

There's some Iranian / Arab men who are literal 2/10s (short and premature balding) but I saw them with hot babes! Holy hell! The women are selling themselves so short for a bunch of poor Middle Eastern males. But this is probably a common tale in 2nd and 3rd tier Ukraine (except Lviv which is allegedly more conservative).


Verdict

If I am returning to Georgia in 2019. Then I really want to make a 90 day trip to Zaporozhye and Dnipro (the two cities are about 1 hour apart on bus and both use Uber) just to find FWBs and possibly even a woman to bring over to Georgia once my tourism visa runs out.

Did you check out any of the nightlife also? If yes, how does it compare to Kiev?

That is true also in smaller towns in EE that have at least some target demographic women there.

It's not inaccurate. I saw factories from my hotel's bedroom window. Potholes everywhere even though winter was many months ago. Abandoned buildings and/or buildings in poor shape. Then never mind a bunch of super drunk guys after 3 PM.

I was able to date a woman that was 10 years younger than me. A Doctor. And some programmer girl who had a Master's degree. I haven't been able to pull off those kind of dates anywhere else except Britain (I know Britain has a bad reputation but if you're a white guy with an American accent then you can swing a bit far).

I went on a Thursday or Friday morning and it was insanely busy. Apparently they first built it when everyone was still suffering from Russophilia and they thought nobody would care about seeing an important area of Ukrainian identity (so they kept it small).

So too many people are interested in such a small site

So it was rather annoying to have to wait for people to leave a building (there's like 12 or so you can enter?) before I could go in it myself. Then as soon as I got into a building a group of people or kids would go in and obstruct me.


The museum is only a scale and my guide said the historical fortress was 10x bigger and would had occupied like 40% of the island. So back then it would had been super intimidating to look it. It kind of makes sense because the historical Sich probably had 30,000 - 100,000 Cossacks in it at some times. But the Museum by comparison looks like some Uncle's summer cabin.

Just went to Zaporizhzye for a couple of days, not too bad. It is in pretty decent shape and people seemed pretty friendly. Not a lot going on but you will have to work for some action. I wasn't here on a weekend so maybe trying to meet girls that are just hanging out versus during the week when they are bounding along the streets like White Walkers, almost impossible to stop is a possibility.

On a last minute flight change, I had to come up to Dnipro from Zaporizhzye and I and truly tell you this a Soviet shithole. I had to take a bus so we got to see a lot of the city while making different stops and it all SUCKED. Streets are chewed up, buildings receive no maintenance at all. Zaporizhzye was Kiev compared to this dump.

I stayed at the Intourist Hotel. $30 per night and pretty nice overall. No gym or pool or anything but competent hotel service at least. I saw lots of hot girls in and out of there. I went to Khortesia Island and took in a little Cossack demonstration show, which was actually pretty cool. 30 min show overlooking the Dneiper and dam, but I like that kind of stuff. Most of the pimply faced hornballs on this site probably don't give a crap about that, but I like history.

The local mall was just about a 5 min walk up the street and they had a really nice grocery store called Silpo, where they had some high quality ready made foods. I bought a some spreads to cover breakfast right in my room and snacks, so then I only had to mostly find a place to eat dinner. It's just saves time not always having to find food.

I stayed at the Palace Hotel because the Intourist was all booked out (I don't understand how that happens in off-season tourism but it must had been some company or exhibition in town).

My room was around $50/night. Inside literally looked like a Best Western and nobody on staff could take room service in English (so I had to play audio from Google Translate). And room service insisted on payment on delivery instead of at checkout. Although the room service prices were pretty low for what was the most expensive hotel in the city?


You know Ukraine always seems nice for Spring and Summer but Zaporozhye looked rough as hell (I forgot if I mentioned about the dirt sidewalks and potholes everywhere. Snow melted away in late April but by September they still haven't filled in the potholes? Either lazy as hell or broke as hell or both).


But it's a pretty doable place. As I said Uber is available and that makes transportation super easy (whereas there was no Uber when I lived in Batumi). Women seem comparatively easier than Kiev so you can get dates to do translations for you (otherwise you will have to do things like eat Puzata Hata or check which restaurants have English menus).

I booked my flight out of Zaporozhye but just a little bit of mist (not even rain) is enough to shut down the airport so my flight was delayed by hours and they had to bus everyone to Dnipro (which has a better airport). It's funny because in my home country I have been able to take flights in the middle of snow and it was no problem for the airline or airport.

So that's something to keep in mind for anyone planning an Ukraine trip. You will have to put up with unreliable air flights. Extremely dangerous to use an Ukraine airlines especially if it's a connecting flight.
