I'm going to be graduating at the end of this semester and my immediate plans involve going to China to try and make a go of getting a finance job/ setting up a business eventually. These are fairly medium-term plans, in the short run the best I can hope for is getting a job teaching SAT or GMAT (I currently teach for Kaplan here in the states) and making okay money while I improve my Mandarin and try to land a "real" job and or business. Anyway, the point is I'm looking at China as a long term investment but in the beginning I'll just be another loser teacher, albeit hopefully test prep teacher.

So with that said, how is China for white guys? Is it a black hole of frustration like I've been hearing about Korea? I'll be 23 years old when I get there and I'm quite athletic, not one of those fat balding dudes at any rate. My only concern is that I'm not that tall (5'9) so I'm not gonna get any points from that like maybe most other white dudes in Asia do. I do like the Asian wimmen, so there's that. With all that said, how would you guys rate my prospects as far as getting girls is concerned?

Dude, China is pretty good for white guys. I'm not a white guy but when I was travelling through China I got some nice attention just because I was a foreigner. If you are a white guy it's going to be even better, though some of the Chinese girls are ugly chicks for the village so generally I wasn't impressed with the quality. Also there are tons of nerdy white English teachers there simply to try to get girls so the segment of the Chinese girl population that actually wants a foreigner has plenty of options. It is not heaven but it seems pretty okay.

Cities that I think are good for chicks but still developed enough:

-Beijing
-Shanghai
-Chongqing
-Chengdu

Chongqing gets brutally hot in the summertime. Chongqing and Chengdu are both in the area of China that is developing insanely fast - it's like what the east coast was ten years ago. That area, Sichuan is known to have particular beautiful women by Chinese standards, which means clear white skin and long legs.

Don't worry about your height. I know White guys shorter than that who clean up regularly in Beijing. For some reason, the expats I know in Shanghai all seem to be taller.

Your results will increase significantly as your Chinese improves, if you want to learn Chinese. If you don't learn Chinese, then you will be limited to the pool of Chinese chicks who speak English and want a foreign guy. This pool is substantial but then you're banging chicks who have probably banged other expats that you might know.

China is nothing like SE Asia. It's harder.
I found the language barrier the biggest problem. But then again I spent most of the time in the country. Shanghai is great though. More chicks speak English they have the best looking I've seen in the East.

China has some quality issues from what I saw. Big, football like heads and bad teeth. Overall and on the average the quality was behind other SE Asian countries. Also, language can be an issue, especially outside the big cities. Other Asian countries have better quality and more English. Having said that, if you are prepared to learn the language (not the easiest) and get to the smaller cities and hunted around, I think you could do very well. I saw a couple of stunners in smaller cities but they had practically zero English.

I agree that the quality of chicks in China is far inferior to those of SE Asia and you will inevitably face far more language issues. The English-speaking hot Chinese chicks are far and few between and you are competing with rich Chinese dudes and Chinese-speaking Expats for those stunners.

China is the kind of place where you need to dig your feet into the ground and build a network before you start getting the really hot chicks, unless you just bang pros - and there are plenty of those hanging out in hotel bars.

If you want to play the field Shanghai and Beijing are best, but you can cut ass in any city (especially tier 2 or 1). If you want test prep teaching TOEFL is your best bet i think, not sure the others will matter.

If you're white you'll do fine, and being old fat and bald in China is not necesarily a disadvantage. Chinese girls often don't like to date someone younger than they are, and dating a much older dude is very normal.

5'9" is tall enough.

There are plenty of other cities that are ok as well besides the one YMG mentioned.

I'd have to disagree with YMG on Sichuan/Chongqing girls having long legs, they are short people. Sichuan people are known to be tough, enthusiastic/passionate, direct, and the women skanky.

They are hands down my favorite people in China.

But as they say: ask a 100 chinese people a question and you get 100 different answers or they all give you the same answer and they are all wrong.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm definitely down for learning Chinese, as a matter of fact I took Chinese for 4 semesters in college, and while I'm not nearly fluent I think I'm good for holding a simple conversation. I want a real job in China eventually so improving my Mandarin is a must in any case.

As far as swooping girls goes, are foreigners limited to a small pool of girls who have a foreigner fetish, or are most Chinese chicks fair game?

Don't be upset you have to go China and start your work without any fear. If you have capability than everybody likes you. If you wants teaching there than you should have sufficient and deep knowledge about your subject because if you have knowledge than you can teach many students.

Here we go!

1. You can close GIRLS - GIIIIIIIRLLLLLLLLLLSSSSSS on the first date.

It doesn't matter where you are, you can do it.

What does matter is that you're looking for those signs that show she is the type of girl who is Down for that sorta stuff quickly.

Kino is a great way to do this - kino her, if she gives you compliance, keep going until you bang her. (Note i said bang - please buy Roosh's book, Bang)

If she Kino's you - great, bang her.

2. I have RARELY closed girls past the day 3, usually if i saw them after a day 3 it means that they were trying to mess with my mind or they were insane and not worth my time.

Anyway, so my point here is that you can close Azn girls quite quickly, some of them on the first date, some on the second.

My suggestion would be that you go to places where Chinese girls go to meet foreigners (foreign lover bars).

The quality will be OK (not super money) and they will mostly be DTF.

If you want to bang girls quickly then you should get them into a place where you can bang them quickly.

For quantity yes, but for quality no way. Best looking east asian type of girls are japanese, chinese women for the most part are of the uncared farmer kind. Still I wouldnt rate any of them that good since Im turned off by the east asian female looks, since they look completly the opposite of what I find a 10's in a woman (tall, naturally medium-light blonde, long legged, blue/green eyes, long straight nose,sharp/angular features.

I have not been (outside of Hong Kong). However, I have a friend who just returned from two years in Beijing and he said it was fantastic. FWIW he is a good-looking white guy.

Have to call you out on this. 5'9 is dead on average in the English speaking world, but in China you'd be taller than average. You shouldn't be concerned about your height at all dude. And this is coming from a guy whose the same height as you.

You should probably go to Russia with Roosh .

I luckily like J/K/C and Russian.

Asian culture is kinda set up to stop Foreigners from getting the really hot girls, we don't usually bring the kind of value they are looking for thus it makes it quite difficult to get them compared to getting them in our own countries.

That doesn't mean its impossible, it just means you need to run your game in a different way, the best way to get SUPER MONEY chicks in China is to run social game with other Chinese guys.....I personally hate social game because i feel it makes my 'Pick up' game weak.

I can still get the super money chicks, it just means i need to approach/interact with more of them than i would through social circle AND i have to keep my game pretty tight.
