Sitting position

Hello everyone,

Had a question about a sitting position I've been noticing in the women I've been talking to recently. A little background, for the past few months I've been getting in shape and have lost a large amount of weight. I've gotten a new job and pay rate as well as a new apartment on the top floor in the down town bar hub in my city. Things are going up and I think the women can tell.

The position I'm referring to has happened with three women in the past week. We will be sitting facing each other. I always have a very open relaxed posture. Legs open arms loose to my side with my hands on my lap or with one arm over the back of the chair. The women will be closed at first but with alot of hair flicking and face showing. Then they have moved into a position I'm not too familiar with. The will bring their feet up to the seat of the chair with their legs apart. Basically making an upside down w with their legs. It doesn't seem like a closed position because of how much is on display. Inner Thighs legs and all the good bits.

Any help understanding this would be much appreciated! I can't seem to find any articles about this position so I'm hoping the more experienced of you can explain it for me.

They're probably just getting more comfortable, so I would just take it as a sign they feel safe in your presence.

Since you seem to have some knowledge of body language, why are you sitting opposite facing women? This is clearly very adverserial body language and it is better to be next to each other for bonding.

It's just kinda the way it ends up. I'll be at a table and invite them to sit with me and that's where they sit. I'll try that approach in the future.

Women are quite clear in their body-language. Unless there is a specific reason they open their legs that way, then it usually means that they actually opening up to you.

But maybe it's a specific chair where they have to sit like that to be comfortable - heh.

So don't go about it like an autist - still - everyone of their body positions and movements matters. Sometimes it's a sign for more openness and thus green light for you to sexualize the encounter more, escalate to touch. Part and parcel of Game this is.

The girls that sat like that in public were usually pretty sexually charged.

Girls sitting like this merits a thread of it`s own!

This is almost the exact position. Only difference being the back of the chair was still behind them. Im a big fan of the pic either way

Interesting. That's a peculiar position alright. It seems VERY open, an invite really. Plus, it looks less balanced than bringing the legs together in front of the chest.

So, did you go for the merch on display?
Also, where is this happening? Could it be cultural? if so, I'm moving there next week!

Thanks for the reply!

I live in a fairly large area in the Midwest so I don't believe it's cultural unless I've missed it all my life.

Unfortunately the first time it happened it was a great set up, just the two of us talking in a beer garden to ourselves. Her female friend showed up and I decided to get get going. The second was again unfortunately a good friends wife in my apartment. I had people over and her and I seemed to hit it off that night, but I wasn't about to press the issue. The third I blame completely on myself for not taking. I was at a friend's house for a game night. The night went on and started thining out. Then her father came home and he and I got to talking about classic cars in his garage until the time had passed. I lose focus pretty easily when drunk.

You're always welcome, Mr. Rodgers (relevant: love the Midwest manners. Some stereotypes are great! )

The common thread across all these examples is comfort. That's there in droves. Now you need to test for interest by going for it. Once you have comfort + interest, good things will happen.

All that said, good call on the good friend's wife!

Thanks for the input! I'll try to stay on task haha. Not a fan of poaching my friends game

Looks like they're pointing their feet and shoulders towards you, so it's open body language even if their knees are touching each other. If you're using the same place to meet all of them, it could be that the chairs there just naturally make them want to sit that way. If it gets in the way you may need to find another place with better situational logistics. If I use a place without sofas, then I usually try to get a table or sit at the bar so that we're on the corner to make us sitting adjacent to each other but at an oblique angle so it's easy to reach over and touch their elbow or hand or whatever.
