Sayulita, Mexico Data Sheet

About:
Sayulita is a small fishing village about an hour north of Puerto Vallarta that went undiscovered for quite some time; however, it is now a mix of the aforementioned and hippie surfers from primarily Canada, the U.S., and Europe.

Lodging:
Finding a good AirBNB is likely the best/easiest option, due to the amount of foreign homeowners and lack of hotels/hostels. I was there for a week and got a two-bedroom casita with a pool for about $45 per night, but there are definitely cheaper options.

Transport:
To get to Sayulita from abroad, you need to fly into Puerto Vallarta, (which can be $400-$800 from the U.S.) then take an Uber or cab north. I would not suggest getting either directly from the airport. My Uber cost $25 there. most cabs will charge about 700-800 pesos per person.

Once in town, you can walk basically anywhere. Some streets are steep and it is largely either unpaved or cobblestone. You can rent a golf cart for about $50 per day or take a cheap cab if you do not want to walk. I liked walking most places because of the women.

Day gaming:
It is very easy to daygame Sayulita, as most of the girls are hippie, "open-minded" types of girls, and this includes the local girls. I would say most of them have the boho/chic look except for the dirty, tomboy surfer girls. I did find that girls were more perceptive if you have a surfer look or long hair, so keep that in mind. Many of the foreigners that were visiting were with their boyfriends, but i was able to meet a few that were not and got a notch relatively easily.

Yah Yah's: This was the best coffee shop I have been to in recent memory. You can often find women there by themselves.

Nightlife:
Chillem Surf House: This was a hippie type bar that was a hole in the wall playing reggae music, but i thought it was a good environment. It was an open-air, yet enclosed area that makes it easy to engage women later in the night. One drawback- it can get packed with surfer guys and it is really hit-or-miss as to how many women will be there at night. Don't drink the house tequila.

Le Zouave: This was a great bar that made great drinks, and it was usually packed with groups of women. It is realatively smaller, but has an upscale, Morrocan feel. I was able to meet both local and tourist girls, and was able to get a bang from one of the tourists I met at this bar. This is also a good place to isolate, as this is one of the few bars that does not allow smoking indoors. Although I only went twice, it is highly recommended.

Escondito Bar: This is a good bar to bounce to after meeting a girl to turn up the keno. It is mostly outside couches and doesn't get too crowded.

Bar Don Pato: This is a dance club at night that plays salsa music. A lot of locals go here, and its a good way to escalate and close. I personally would recommend it.

Aria Lounge: I went here too early on in the night and left after a beer, but have only heard good things about it. I think it would be worth checking out.

Online Gaming:
Don't waste your time.

Summary:
Sayulita is a beautiful village with beautiful, eclectic women from all over the world. It is definitely worth checking out for women, sights, and surfing if that's your thing.

These Mexican beach towns are really gems I think, it was one of my options for this summer but I went to Puerto Escondido instead. If you've been there how does it compare?

Also, tell me the age range of the chicks, how many Mexicanas are there and is there a high exotic factor? Would you compare the Mexicanas to Guadalajara levels or below? Good stuff

I have never been to Puerto Escondido, but I have heard similar things. Most of the girls were mid-twenties to early thirties, and I'd say its about 50/50 between Mexicans and foreigners. A lot of the local women were from Guadalajara.

Solid Data Sheet amigo - a good friend of mine is basically living down there and is opening a business that caters to young adults.

It's really not that bad of a ride there (about an hour from Vallarta)

I've seen his posts and he's told me his stories, I promised him I'll come down there, I get the same vibe as I did in Oahu (not the tourist trap spots, but out of The Town).

It's definitely a cool surfer gem!

This place is certainly getting busier as the years pass, but it still has a unique charm about it. Still worth a visit.
