Not sure if a thread has been done on this.

I notice it a good bit when I read posts on this forum about how really pale white guys should go to Brazil and how darker guys should go to Scandinavia, this is me assuming you want hot girls. Have heard about this from others as well and I am mainly talking about hookups and casual sex as opposed to marriage here, so in other words, if you want to fuck a lot of hot girls. Looks aren't everything but they do matter a good deal in attraction and being good looking in her eyes makes the game a lot easier.

It isn't just traveling either, I am talking about a general rule here even being in the US.

One of my roommates was a Nordic looking white guy born and raised in the midwest yet it seemed like he kind of struggled with blonde girls compared to darker more tanned white girls.

I have somewhat of the same issue as well being brown to where I notice I that on dating apps and when it comes to game in general, it seems like I do well with women that are not brown (of any kind).

The groups I do best with are white girls, black girls and ethnic girls (including brown girls) who are a few shades darker than me. Seems like I do well with Indian girls who are as dark as Mindy Kaling but the ones who are as light as Sunny Leone are not interested.

Now there is one weird outlier for me in all of this, I've not had any troubles with white girls that have dark hair and tanned skin. My latino friend kills it with the Kylie Jenner lookalikes too.

Wanted to hear the thoughts of you guys here. Would you better off approaching a lot of hot girls of a different ethnic look than you?

Yes. I strongly believe that opposites attract, some dude a long time ago told me that as a blonde guy with green eyes I would kill it in latin america - and he was right. 90% of girls I have gotten with recently were brunettes because they show me way more interest. I don't think that opposites attract all the time but most of the time it is true, Roosh also says to go to a place where you don't look like the local and this is a great piece of advice which holds true. Even in the UK I always go for darker girls with darker features, I rarely hit it off with blondes.

I think in every population the majority of women will be endogamous, i.e. prefer men from their own group. Some will be indifferent. However, a smaller percentage of women will be exogamous, i.e. prefer men from other groups who don't look like their own. It's probably nature's way of ensuring that there's a constant small trickle of fresh and new genetic material into the population, to prevent inbreeding and be prepared just in case environmental conditions demand different adaptions, etc.

Now when you go to a country where your look is not the norm, although most women will probably not consider you as a possible sexual partner just based on looks alone, a smaller subset will be really into you, very warm to your approach and comparatively keen on jumping into bed with you. You won't even have to go out of your way to find them, because they will make an effort to be around you and your kind and actively seek you out (certain venues, language learning, events, hobbies, etc., basically everything that increases their chances to meet the type of man they're into). And since you look different and stand out, it's easy for them to do that. The girls interested in you will self-select, which makes the whole process of getting laid a lot easier.

I believe that's one of the main reasons for all those "Country X is great for Y men" threads.

Keep in mind that I'm just talking about looks and raw attraction here, obviously other factors like finances, status, reputation, game, social circle also play a role and can further tip the odds in your favour (or not).

It's a complex issue but the research shows that people have a predisposition to form couples on the basis of assortative mating. In other words, mating partners more often than not share phenotypic, genomic, and personality attributes. In light of this, the OP's question is an empirically falsified hypothesis.

Girls like variety and some collect flags just like we do. I think this applies more to hooking up than to serious relationships.

From my own personal observation, I notice that I see a lot of sexy dark haired white women with blond guys and vice versa. So I think to a degree, it could be that you have to be different enough. One of my friends looks a lot like male model David Gandy and he is a hit with redheads and blondes. When it comes to white women with dark hair, especially if they are good looking, he actually struggles and fails to get the same amount of IOIs.

My predicament is as weird as it comes though. I am brown but when it comes to getting white girls, I've had it the easiest with brunettes and dark haired white women.

This shit confuses me sometimes but I think social acceptance could have a play in it as well. Whenever I've been out with a Mediterranean or dark haired chick, I don't get any looks or stares. The few times I have been out with a sexy blonde or pale girl, I got a lot more stares and was in much more uncomfortable situations.

Yes women tend to like exotic guys. This however applies more to women who have a rather big notch count and have already been fucked trough quite a few men of her native culture and race.

Don't marry or have children with a girl of a different race trough - in a serious relationship cultural differences will turn from exotic into annoying and children will have huge identity problems, that are likely to fuck them up for life.

In a foreign country where you look different you will be noticed.

Unless you belong to a race that is discriminated against you will be more attractive there to the girls. (e.g. In Thailand you see openly on bars entry "no arabs" )

Most likely you will be seen as the toerists, the man who has funds to travel and party. And who might pass to a next country in a few weeks.

I think that there is something to this to a degree because the past weekend I was hanging out at a popular spot in my city. The area is mostly white but it is various European ethnic groups.

Small sample size but I noticed that most hot blondes I saw were with a dark haired guy but a lot of hot brunettes and darker skinned women I saw were with blond guys. I remember one of my good friends going to Italy saying how he was getting so many IOIs, the guy looks kind of like the lead singer of Coldplay but he didn't get the same IOIs when he went to Denmark.

Can't come to any conclusions myself because even my experience has been a bit wacky. I do way better with brunettes and swarthy white women than I do with blondes but maybe the rule is if you are different enough but not too different, you have a bonus. This could explain why I have so many struggles with Indian and Middle Eastern women.
