Does anybody have any recent experience or tips on visiting Portugal beach areas, like Algarve?

I haven't been for several years but it is a beautiful part of the world and swarmed with tourists in the summer. Years ago I camped out in Lagos for a few days. I remember lots of beautiful, bare breasts on the beach during the day and making out with a pretty, young English girl on holiday. I had absolutely 0 game at the time.

Thanks. I was also there years ago in Lagos and Albufeira. I had a great time. Just wondering what it's like now?

Same thing, hands down Lagos for me though.
The touristic boom in Portugal is more felt in Lisbon and Porto, and other areas where before nobody went, like the Vicentine Coast.

I love Portugal! Fantastic food, people, weather and cost of living! Go there with an open mind and enjoy it! The girls are great.

Me and my girl visit the nude beaches there.

We were there last year actually.

One nude beach requires you to climb and slide down a mountain to find it and the other is collection of twisting roads and trails, but if you find it, it's a hidden paradise like you've never seen.

I would say Algarve is my favorite place in the world to go if I want to find myself.

I can't speak for the tourist traps because I avoid them.

You are the first guy who has ever stated that here.
Can you tell us more about your experiences with them?

You could be right.

I missed the fact that his screenname suggests he is Australian, I can imagine exotic factor for an Aussie in Portugal is pretty high and helped him with the locals.

Well I am from Australia and yes the women suck here!!!

I just love the mix of women there in Portugal. It all depends on your tastes and what does it for you women wise. Of course there are ugly ones, but tons of cute sexy ones as well. I have been there many times since the late 1990`s and I have enjoyed it and the women each time I have been there. They are friendly and you can have some great times with them.

In terms of people, the Algarve is full of families and couples. The only town really full of actual ladies from Portugal is Faro; the furthest town from the popular one Lagos, and it has no beaches to speak of (Google Image is a lie.)

I'd go to the Algarve if i just wanted to lay on a beach, taking day trips to nearby surfing towns (with cold water).

I don't know what your goal is, but if you want all the same natural beauty, and more, but with warm waters and more beautiful + fun people - check out Mallorca. Amazing towns + villages, great food + architecture, great scenery + wildlife - and there's obviously Magaluf - which has to be literally in the top 10 destinations on earth for getting your dick wet.

Good points. Also Algarve is more expensive than South of Spain nowadays.

Agree on some points, others don't.
There are a couple of party places in Algarve, top of my head being Vilamoura (for portuguese, 90% of the girls only accessible by social circle) and Albufeira/Oura (equal as magaluf, the quality in magaluf probabily is better). Food is way better in Algarve as it is surfing spots. Big plus is the warmer water in Majorca. The water in continental portugal is f*** cold

In the Algarve, Lagos is hard to get to, so it's mostly more backpacker style travelers. Albufeira was more like package tour central, but when I was there, the town was full of drunk Finnish girls every night. I liked the Algarve a lot more than Mallorca, but I guess it depends where you go.

Man I wonder how Lagos is these days......10 years ago was like a secret paradise.
With game and a good wingman you could get laid pretty much every night.
