I've been to both and definitely preferred Philippines. Banged more and higher quality girls in Phils but then again had more game at that stage than I did in thailand. Never opened a girl in phils so preferred that type of lazy game.
Also I did some free diving in phils which made my overall impression a lot higher than if I'd just gone purely for the girls.
And to me night life per say isn't too important when it comes to closing girls. I could go out to clubs here that are packed and close at 5am and still go home empty handed whereas in phils I could rock up to a fairly quiet bar and go home with one of the local girls at 12 when it closes.
Thailand was quite a cock fest IMHO. I remember being in koh phi phi and looking around and seeing lots of big well built alpha guys ie lots of competition, and only a few girls most of which were 7's at best.
Koh phanghan had some serious israeli hotties but then again they are incredibly difficult and usually roll with their rich israeli military guy friends. Awesome guys to party with though.
Phils had hardly any natural english speakers which I prefer. Lots of eastern europeans and Japanese girls too. Nice change from thailand which was crowded with loud ausi's or brits etc. No offence if you.
