Within the last year I have lost about 60 lbs. Before that I was fat for about 10 years. I'm down to around 200 now and I find that with the more weight I lose the reactions I'm getting from women are becoming strange. I've been told recently that I am pretty good looking, and I guess that must be the case since women stare me down on a regular basis now. But when I directly interact with women they almost seem taken back by me. I'm not used to women stuttering when they talk to me and acting like I'm freaking them out when I smile during an interaction. Is this normal? or am I doing something wrong?

Ronny first off, congrats on losing the weight!

If you're getting looks and stares you already breaking the ice with these girls and you're a solid candidate for cold approaches, day or night! Guys would kill to be in your position.

Girls who seem taken aback and stumble on their words sounds like a good thing, as in they probably are shocked a good looking dude is talking to them.

Follow up question - when you smile, what do you mean by freaking them out? Can you go into detail about that?

To give an example I was at whole foods the other day. Turned a corner with my shopping cart and there's a girl coming from the other side of the aisle, so we are at a standstill and I smile and say "excuse me". Her eyes get big she glances back and forth quickly and her mouth twerks like some big booty hoe, without saying anything she jets around me. This happened again shortly after, exact same reaction. The reactions I get are usually something similar when it does happen. I don't know what to make of it.

Hmmm, was this more of a scared reaction then? As in they thought you were being creepy?

Or was this more like just a shocked reaction?

How tall are you? Do you look intimidating? Details would be helpful

I wouldn't say scared is the right term for the way they react I can read that pretty easily. It's more of an awkward reaction.

I'm 5'10 and I do have a lot of upper body muscle but my facial features are youthful, I'm 28 but I've been mistaken for being a minor if I'm clean shaven. So no I don't THINK I look like a rapist.

You said 'excuse me' so she felt she was in your way. Read somewhere that 'excuse me' is one of the worst possible things a salesman can say to get potential customers to stop.

If you are getting substantial eye contact, a situational opener might be better. In a supermarket, 'pick up the cereal in your cart and say 'have you tried this brand of cereal before?' or you are beside the ice cream section 'there are quite a lot of brands/flavors here, anything you recommend?' In most cases, girls who are really interested will be keen on speaking with you.

Nothing special with the interaction. You need to learn Game. Invite someone to tag along with you - do a couple approaches together and that person (if sufficiently well-versed in Game) can give you pointers if you do something really wrong - something that you miss or are not honest about.

But otherwise keep on plugging on. No one is born a master - unless you are a woman in a Star Wars Disney movie, then you are born an instant Mary Sue.

I have read a lot of "theory" on game and watched some stuff from RSD (mostly todd), but as far as going out and hitting women up for numbers I have never done that. My issue is I really don't know anyone who's even remotely versed in game. Probably a dumb excuse and I should just say fuck it and go out but like you said I won't get decent results if I'm not getting feedback from someone.

You WILL be getting "feedback" from someone. That "someone" is the girl you're trying to game.

Experience the best teacher. And the smile or frown on the face in front of you is the most immediate feedback.

Read up Roosh's Game books - Bang and Day Bang. Then read Nick Krauser's rookie products. Then you got the indirect Game and direct Day Game covered. Both are useful - the way to ask about the nearest pet shop or the one where you go full frontal telling her that you like the way she looks like a cute hamster.

If you share your city, then stick around here longer, you might be able to meet up with someone who lives near you. Otherwise it's better to get the theory down first - the materials I mentioned just increase your learning curve without having to go through hundreds of rejections. If you are naturally good-looking, then it will be easier anyway. Cutting some more might help as well:
