Not sure, I think there have always been all types of people including gay people and cross dressers. Hermaphodites can happen naturally but the modern transsexual is a cross dresser with a boob job.

To me the recent increase is a combination of the floodgates being open sexually since birth control pill, 60s, porn, gay marriage etc. so this is the next thing. It seems to me like it is being sensationalized and overcovered by the media as a topic based on what is (was) a super small part of the population. But with the topic in the news, young people learning all about this stuff, and parents trying out things like gender neutral raising on their kids, there seems to be an increase.

I think the "progress" of the progressivism of the left thinks of social attitudes going through a continual process of evolution. That evolution started to pick up steam in the early 60s with the civil rights movement and women's lib. A social justice warrior is always looking for a new battle to fight and around 10 years ago or so, homosexuality became the new beachfront, as was alluded to here.

For instance, just the other day I was turning on NPR and it was some woman spilling her guts about her childhood. Even though there was nothing about sexuality per se within the first sentence or two, I immediately thought to myself "what do you bet she's about to lapse into the realization that she was gay?" and YEP. That's exactly what it was.

I've noticed that the ratio of identity politics stories that NPR decides to cover is huge.

An extreme amount of airtime is being given to gays "telling their story". It happens on NPR and it bleeds through into regular entertainment as showbiz attempts to pat themselves on the back for being so trendy and woke.

The three "fronts" of the left are gays, metoo, and the plight of illegal immigrants.

Won't forget one time I was in NYC kinda buzzed & asked someone politely for directions to a nightclub (we're talking like 11 years ago hahah). You'd think the first kind of guy the Rainbow Flag crowd would want would be ones who were open-minded enough to be with trannies, but you'd be wrong.

I actually tried this a few times online in dating sites with women who had turned me off with their big-mouth political posturing. Even though I insinuated I was kidding (which I was), the women went crazy and threw out a bunch of "homophobic" comments. Then they disappeared.

Also, they went on about "morals." When I countered that their support of trannies was amoral in and of itself, they had nothing to say. They just stopped replying.

Conclusion: Most women are full of shit when it comes to politics, especially of this sort. They just go along with the crowd, but when push comes to shove, they don't really believe it.

The funny thing about Rocky Horror some 40+ years out is that the tranny/gay stuff was, let's face it, played for laughs. Because mentally ill people jump on the bandwagon of whatever particular mental illness is en vogue at the time of their illness. When it gets to the point that too many people start having the illness then people become cynical about it and people stop being associated with it (or some new illness gets invented). It's like being lactose intolerant. What you have to understand is that this whole thing is funded by your tax dollars. They take tax money from the citizens to advocate in favor of things like Gay Marriage. The government hires community organizers and other NGO's to push this stuff onto the public.

They also allow Universities these perverse incentives to indoctrinate students into super left wing thinking. Let's say a University makes $30,000 per student per year. Because science professors and science classes are expensive the profit margin per student is perhaps $10,000. However, the profit margin for a woman's studies major... or psych, or many of the other bullshit left wing degrees is $25,000. So obviously the university is financially rewarded for pushing students out of science and into women's studies.

With this framework in mind. Understand that if we have a professional class of activist assholes running around and they fix a problem... what are they going to do... get a new job? No. The fuckers have to latch onto something else to keep the funding coming... and we are talking BILLIONS!

Now my father is a fairly well connected Liberal. I once asked him this very question. What happens when Transvestites get to pee whereever they want?

My dad is very convinced that the next thing after normalizing Transvestites is Pedophiles. Because it's a disease and they can't help themselves. I can already see the English and European fuckers starting down this road. You watch... this shit is coming!
