I'm thinking of moving to Miami, of course it has a lot of Latinas which is nice but does Miami have a shortage of white girls? I looked at the racial demographics of Miami and it says it's only 11% white. I like white girls so girl wise if Miami is only 11% white it might kind of suck. For those of you that live in Miami do you feel like there is a shortage of white girls in day to day life? Since there is not many white girls are they put on a pedestal in Miami with a big ego?

I live in Miami and in recent years more white people have definitely come here.

The latino population is different here than anywhere else in the country with the majority being Cubans who are mostly white, Colombians, Venezuelans, and others.
If you want more white girls I would move to Fort Lauderdale. There are more white people there.

Don't rely so much on demographic searches online. There are plenty of white girls in the area.
For one, when you look at Miami online, you probably looked at "Miami" proper, which only has 400,000 people and covers a tiny area that doesn't even include Miami Beach (technically a separate city). The Miami Metro area has 6 million people and is ~32% white per Wikipedia. Furthermore, as cato said, there are lots of Latinas here (especially Cubans) that look white, especially to the untrained eye. Many of these girls have recent European ancestry. It's very different than the majority of Mexicanas in places like Socal who are descended from Native tribes.
If you want the all-American white girls, you have University of Miami in Coral Gables which felt white as fuck to me when I visited there. You can also go up to Fort Lauderdale which is full of dive bars with white party girls. It can be a fun scene if you're in your early/mid20s.

Besides the arguments that RDF already outlined, you can always take a ride to South Beach which is overflown with white girls on vacation or students in some language schools. They're often looking for some holiday fun and are quite easy.
I haven't been to Miami a whole ton so take my feedback with a grain of salt. I feel like the Miami Beach area has a decent amount of white Euro chicks around, but less representation from white middle America Becky types unless it is spring break season or Ultra is going on or something. Miami Beach is also known for having an older, established Jewish community as well. RDF's feedback seems spot-on. cato is correct too. The Latin population is extremely diverse within itself as well. Miami & Miami Beach felt like its own worlds to me. If you are specifically on the hunt for Americana style white chicks, you are almost better off in any other Floridian city really.

Lol that sounds fucked up, how long did you live there? Do you feel like the average person that lives in Miami is just a rich obnoxious person from a Latin country? I stayed at the SLS in South Beach for a couple of days last year. Best looking group of people I've ever seen at the pool party - even better than Bangkok or Bali. Seems to be a real fitness culture; everybody tan, very ghetto, but nice execution. Never felt so fucking ugly.

Everyday, I'd ride the elevator with models, porn stars, and telenovela chicks. Not to mention the gym in my building was like watching a fucking movie on how to be hot and look hot in a gym. So much pussy... I developed the term "dumpster diving game." Because I was in no way in their social circle, but they were with megalomaniacs who couldn't devote time to them, so all the sudden, "here's alpha male in the gym or by the pool and maybe he can throw some dick. Seems like he won't blow the ride I got going." I had a plate rotation that I didn't even know their names. I labeled them in my phone by the floor and tower they lived on.

QFT. Perhaps a bit of an extreme view, but accurate nonetheless.
That is why they say its a nice place to visit but not to live. Every place has its pros and cons, but they are a greater magnitude in South Florida, and the negatives are not mentioned very much.
It has aspects of the third world. Stray dogs. People dump trash on the side of the road, like bag fulls. Various varieties of "eople don't follow rules."
And the 6 million in metro miami is from Key West to Palm Beach, rougly a 2-hour radius from Miami.
As you go north, the demographics and culture become more white. Parkland was in the nice part (west) of Broward, which was probably a 50/50 split.
The Cubans are mostly white ethnically but latin culturally. Its a good culture but different and very clubby. They run the place. Its a terrible place to be black my Haitian friends would tell me. Maybe if you are upper income its good, but much worse to be a poor black in Miami than in Missippi.
As an aside, there are more white girls further south, in Coral Gables and Kendall as well as further north in Ft. Lauderdale and Boca.
Its also an expensive place to live for the jobs that are available there due to snowbirds bidding up real estate. Its a much more difficult place to live than people expect.
Fuck that does kind of sound like a toxic environment. Ehh maybe I'll just move to New York City but I fear it will just be a concrete jungle and everyone will always be stressed out over high cost of living over there.
Buy a boat and live on it. That's what I did in Miami and for the entire time I lived in South FL for the most part. It's the cheapest route to waterfront property.

It isn't that bad. Many people I know absolutely love living in Miami and don't fit the traditional tanned/jacked/shady MFer stereotype. I have only visited for a week at a time, but each time I've had a blast.

I moved to Miami a few months ago and so far I like it. Granted I live in one of the more upscale neighborhoods and don't deal with stray dogs, gangbangers or any of that shit. I also don't deal with traffic because I bike a lot and work close to my condo. I only know a few phrases in spanish but so far it hasn't been a problem. Trying to communicate with girls who know limited english has led to some fun interactions using hand signs and basically playing Charades. 80% of the people I interact with outside of work know english, though.
I've lived in a lot of cities and Miami is the most beautiful. The entire place is colorful and there's some world class architecture here. The water is a gorgeous shade of blue. The Cuban people have this laid back swagger with a strong sense of community. I don't really get other people's negativity about the city, but since I'm pretty new here maybe there are some things I haven't seen yet. On the other hand, wherever you go, there you are.

Judging by your biking and love of Architecture in Miami I'm assuming you're a hipster that loves utilitarian architecture.?
