I had to laugh at the title!
I didn't know though there was a world record of an orgy.
I guess this is one of those events where old couples and fuglies get together for extra fun?

“When we became fully aware of the nature of the functions intended to be held at the hotel, we advised the group that the events were not consistent with the standards and environment we support and consequently will not be permitted to take place at our property,” the statement continued.

The group, which hopes to break the record held by Japan of “500 people simultaneously having sex,” were able to find a new place for their attempt: the Erotic Heritage Museum.

Some event-goers were offered a shuttle to the museum from the hotel.


According to Sin City 8’s website, the hotel was sold out due to the event but tickets were “still available to all events,” which included pool parties and workshops.

Fox News’ request for a comment from the Embassy Suites on Wednesday morning was not immediately returned.

That's what I was thinking...
The majority of the people read about it and think it's some porn like orgy with a bunch of hot bimbos all over the place but then the reality checks in and boom...massive hordes of these "polygamists" and fuglies.

All anyone would remember is: "Embassy Suites" and "Worlds largest orgy," followed by booking cancellations for the next few months by their target market, corporate business travelers.

Nowadays publicly held companies will do what they can to avoid the stench of scandal - especially with anything remotely connected to sexual behavior. It was a smart move on the part of management to uh, pull out early. Money talks.
