Well, it's like fitness, as I'm reminded of the recent ROK article. There's always some new piece of equipment or workout that claims to get you results fast. Truth is that on the contrary game takes work. It takes logistics, fitness, and style, in addition to openers and kino and whatever else, a lot of which PUA types appear clueless about.

Effort is the product of a mindset that will give you consistent long term results. PUA bootcamps are a few hours and will keep you pumped for a week, maybe a month at most. The dollar to value ratio is horrendous.

The problem with Vice is of course that they are throwing any seduction expert into the same pot with pedophiles and other scum. I didn't see the interview, but this news doesn't surprise me. I remember back when I was just getting rolling in the Game, Justin Wayne (or as he was sometimes known by the ostensibly cooler-sounding "Marcus Nero") was among the 1st of these dues I was looking over, and from the start, he had this incredulous air about him. The whole business of this smarmy upstart type, with his unassuming thug persona, pulling chick after chick in the 8+ range back to his place within 15 mins. of his approach. The clips were entertaining, but even then, at the preliminary stage of learning I was in at the time, I still felt the material to be highly questionable. This is one of the big mysteries of the world. It is extremely difficult to predict who is a good salesman before you see him in action. And since PUA comes down to sales... there are duds in the game who you think must be perfect, but are not; and then there are little lisping weasels that draw a lot of tail. Probably the IDGAF attitude is off the chain. But you don't see that from a few videos. Sure, maybe all his "infield" videos are paid prostitutes, but not necessarily so.

I think the combination here is also that guys think they should be getting much better than the 5s and 6s that surround them in this culture, and that's exponentially harder when women are indeed that bad: the 7s and 8s become unbelievably inflated in "value" (looks, since that's all they have here).
