Getting out of the Shit Coporate Grind and Making More Money

I have a good software sales job and I'm saving money, but I want to start to prepare for a way out of this corporate life eventually.

As I've learned you'll never get THAT far working in this environment -- though you can do alright for yourself.

Things i've done in the last year or so.

1. Payed off Student Debt. Obvious one. Don't want any reminiscence of college negatives dragging me down. (whole experience was worthless)

2. Started a few niche sites. One is starting to get semi big, another 2 are in the pipeline and slowly gaining traffic. Solid second source of income currently and I will continue to grow them. Might be a full time income eventually. Its nice waking up every morning seeing money.

3. Learned to trade/invest. Investments are doing well and now now how to make more money with my money. Crypto trading as well.

I want a 3rd source of income, and a chance at making a lot more money. I have a few options:

1. Family owns RE in a tier 2/3 US city, partial resort town. I can move here and do RE learning from them and even maybe getting some money for my first downpayment. This seems lucrative as LOTS of people have made a ton of money in RE. I am also v familiar with this city.

I would get a job here and then look to buy a property hopefully within a few months to a year in a desirable location.

2. Find a different business model and go that route. i would have to look for a while as I don't see anything here immediately.

I know you all are full of wisdom so additional opinions and viewpoints would be awesome -- or maybe additional business models to look into.

Real estate is a no-brainer. It's like the proverb about planting a tree: the best time to do it is always 20 years ago, so get on it. I bought in my late 20s

It's best to buy in a popular tier 1 city where you'd like to live or spend time, but buying where your parents live is good too because you can learn from them and also they can help you out if you're traveling and something happens that can't be handled online.

I might go the RE route since I have family connections. It's not a tier 1 city like NYC/LA/Miami but it comes close and its one a lot of people on this board have considered living in.

I guess i'll get a job out there and then start buying up RE with my dad.

A lot of guys are going Online looking for personal Financial Freedom, thinking of it as the Holy Grail of Wealth Independence and unfortunately, failing miserably.

Reflection and time spent looking within is a great start.
What value can you add to the Local World?

Check out some Commercial Real Estate, see whats available and whats affordable/sustainable.

If you are Charming, Attractive, Outgoing and willing to step out into your Community to Network - you have the potential to attract many Customers in your Area.

Once you've learned to Walk, built a strong pair of Legs, then going Online/National makes Running a whole lot easier.

Just my 2 cents from someone who has been there.

Any good places to get started with commercial real estate? Renting out apartments is becoming overly regulated around here. Commercial would hopefully be less so, but I have no idea about it.

Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and fuck the prom queen.

The only friend i have in CRE told me out of college his first whole year was cold calling hundreds of people a day in a SF database trying to get one deal.
