Mamaroneck Ave. White Plains, NY

Saturday nights, especially in the summer, this place is LIVE. There are a bunch of bars and clubs with some excellent talent. You do not even need to enter a bar to find girls, theyre walking around everywhere. I go about once a month. I will take notes of club/bar names, cover charges and whatever other useful information I can come up with the next time Im there. I was there Saturday. It was a great time. If you're in the North East or the NYC area it is worth checking out. I go there from CT where the bars close at 2:00am so 4:00am closing time is a nice bonus for me.

Cheers

What type of talent go there? Is it like Black Bear in White Plains and Stamford or a better crowd? Im in Wilton CT once in a while so definitely interested in a decent place to check out. I mostly just save my hunting for NYC when I"m stateside.

The crowd is mixed depending on what bars or clubs you hit. Mostly 20-30 year old women. Some of the places have stricter dress codes and some are more casual. It's more about the volume of attractive girls there. Everywhere you turn your head, on the street or in the bar there are options. I have never been to Blackbear or partied in Stamford. In CT I'm usually in Hartford or at the casinos. Occasionally New Haven but I definitely have the most fun in White Plains.

And like I said, I will give a more detailed report in a couple of weeks with many more specifics. Still thought it was worth posting without them. Good times down there.

The crowds in Stamford and White Plains are similar. A bit more of a whiter crowd in Stamford. Both areas are fun/good # of good looking women. Hotels in Stamford are close to the action if you don't want to drive home drunk or for hookup logistics.

Ya I would say that White Plains is like 60% white 40% latino. Did see a fine ass black girl Saturday. I was with someone but I'm still thinking about her. I am usually at the little pubs or where the Spanish music is so my ratio might be a little off.

I work near White Plains, It is about an hour north of New York City by car and a half-hour by Metro North express train. Despite the distance, it is worth the trip. The great thing about White Plains is the compactness of downtown White Plains. Everything is centrally located on Main Street and Mamaroneck Avenue, which intersect each other. Given its proximity to Manhattan, you have a good range of talent, but with bitch shields at only half force. For a small city, there is a surprising range of bars and restaurants, all within walking distance.

The bar scene: Walking on Main Street from the train station, one first encounters Vintage, which is a sedate wine bar with irregular attendance. Right next door is Sofrito, a nicely appointed Latin American restaurant and bar/lounge. There is a lively bar scene on Thursday and Friday nights, with Latina cuties ripe for the plucking. As one makes a left onto Mamaroneck Avenue, there is the Ritz Carlton, which has the upscale “42" bar and restaurant. Never been, hear its nice. Continuing onto Mamaroneck Avenue is a Buffalo Wild Wings, with its opportunity for low-rent ditz game. Walking further on Mamaroneck Avenue, there is Don Coqui, a newly opened restaurant and lounge along the lines of Sofrito. Further east about three blocks, at the intersection of Post Road and Mamaroneck Avenue, is the main strip of bars, which vary from trendy Elements to the laid back Black Bear Saloon. MMM favorites include the Brazen Fox and Ron Blacks. The Lazy Boy Saloon draws some fine ass sisters and has a small dance floor. But really, you can’t go wrong on this one block strip of bars, some of which continue onto Post Road. Many of the bars have outdoor seating. The girls are a mix of locals and people who work in the area on Thursdays and Fridays. Saturdays are just the locals. There is a fair racial and age mix, but mostly white and skewing to the early 20's. Be careful drinking and driving, as the cops are out in force on this strip.

Day game: There are many day game opportunities, especially during lunchtime during the week. The fountain at the corner of Main Street and Mamaroneck Avenue is a chill spot to scope out the talent and pursue punani. Other good spots include the Galleria Mall, the Westchester Mall and the City Center. Mamaroneck Avenue is also good for pre-evening day game and evening “street game.”

Logistics: The Ritz Carlton and the Marriot Residence Inn are close by. (Since you are staying here on business, right?) Or bring your hoe to the clean but no frills Alexander Inn, a ten minute cab ride from the strip, which has a $40 short stay rate. Yeah, that’s I’m talking about!

So if you’re in or near the area, give it a try. My White Plains bangs include a County office worker; a nursing student who worked at the Walmart; a commercial lending officer; and a business student. As a former Manhattan office worker, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of the women up here. Game on, my brothers.

I've traveled up to White Plains back in the day. Loved MMM's write up. IMO, it's a lovely satellite city of NYC & certainly one of the better places to be in the surrounding areas outside of city. I'd certainly take it over most of Long Island (with the exception of the Hamptons in the summertime of course). I'm sure it's similar to Stamford (CT), and probably a bit less urban than Hoboken (NJ). Felt like an interesting mix of yuppies, but primarily a local crowd that grew up in the area unlike the immensely diverse crowd down in Manhattan. A major drawback with residing in this area vs. the City is that the Metro North train does NOT run 24 hours. It shuts down around 1 something AM. Long Island's towns are worse IMO but ironically their Long Island Railroad runs 24 hours, but less frequently late in the night.

Great sit-rep by MMM. Spot on breakdown of the White Plains nightlife. Good tip for the Alexander motel for those not willing or able to splash a little on the Ritz-Carlton. Brazen Fox always a good pick, Don Coqui fills with Latinas (and some Italian/Albanian chicks) on Latin Nights.

I grew up in North Jerz and I've never thought to go up there but that whole area is very populated. Mt Vernon and New Rochelle are over 50,000+ and Yonkers is over 200,000
