There seems to be no data sheet on Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I'll be heading there for 6 days around Christmas with my own AirBnB near the party district.

I'll be using Tinder, I checked the scene out with a fake profile and it looks like there are less than 1000 female profiles which doesn't bode well for abundance. Any other apps I should know about?

I'll be crawling all the location and hotspot hashtags on Instagram for girls to follow and message.

I'll be doing nightgame almost every night. Trying to pull girls back to my place and getting up numbers to set up hangouts the next day.

Anything else I should know? I'll try to compile what I learn into a datasheet.

Hey dude I was there for 7 nights, got 3x tinder bangs and 1x handjob. None of them were stunners, wasn't really worth it for the time I put in. I'd focus on day game/night game, don't put too much effort into tinder. Some hot waitresses and receptionists there, shy but friendly and worth hitting on a little. If you know a little Spanish or try they'll be inpressed.

I barely checked out the nightlife, I go out solo a lot but it really felt like a place you had to be in a group as everyone there was in groups and pretty young crowds. Saying that there were a lot of 8s out at night, young Americanchicks.

If you are solo but have real high energy you can probably break into these groups. Friend some guys maybe n get yourself a wing. I was more focused on surfing n traveling round. Got a hire car and was nice seeing the country. Seemed like the tinder chicks in La Paz were a lot better.

Mango Deck had hot American chicks partying on the beach in the afternoon. After that all the clubs are close and you can check em out for yourself. Mandala or Abolengo probably best for Mexican chicks.

This was in June, believe Dec is the high season so probably a little wilder then.

I love Cabo.

Went there for the first time in 2012 with 3 friends. Ended up staying at a senorita's place who couldn't speak English 5 of the nights. Met her at Mandala during a slow time of the year.

It's a great smaller vacation city, very centralized, and as far as I know, not dangerous at all. I know I walked around solo at night on the back streets.

Is this overdressed? Someone mentioned Cabo was pretty laid back because of the weather, but it's supposed to be around 68 degrees Fahrenheit at night when I'm there (wintertime).

Just returned from six nights in Cabo San Lucas.

About

Cabo San Lucas (San Lucas for short) is one of two towns in the "Los Cabos" area, the other being San Jose del Cabo.

If you're a younger person, Cabo San Lucas is definitely where you want to be — it's the livelier and younger version of the two towns and has the nightclubs and bars where people go out.

Nightgame

Because Cabo is a vacation and couples destination, almost everyone in the clubs was in a relationship, or part of a big mixed group and not really willing to meet outside of their group. There were also a lot of families in the clubs (several times I hit on a girl only to realize her family was standing right there). I didn't meet a single girl who was there alone.

I didn't have too much success with nightgame, and from the looks of it, not many other guys did either. The closest I got was bouncing two American girls back to my place with a wing I met while I was walking the streets. Made out with my girl but she wanted to leave with her friend and she didn't respond to my requests to meet up again.

The overall quality of girls is very good. Lots of 18-22 year old sorority girls from Texas, California, Oregon, Washington, and hot girls from bigger Canadian cities.

I went out four out of the six nights and each time, there were significantly more single guys than single girls in each of the venues. Even the attractive guys weren't pulling.

All the bars and clubs in San Lucas are concentrated within a five minute walk of each other, so you should be venue-hopping if you go out. None of the places have cover, either, so you can roam around looking for sets. Don't bother going out before 11 PM, it will be dead, because everyone is still eating dinner and pregaming with their families or friends.

These are the main spots to hit, in order of popularity:

El Squid Roe - insane, busy, noisy place, that caters to a family atmosphere
Mandala - the more upscale place. Doesn't get going until later in the night, after 11:30.

The dress code is very casual at all of these places, even Mandala. Guys were going out in shorts and Hawaiian shirts. [/i][/b]

Daygame

I approached a couple girls walking around the streets downtown. Puerto Paraiso mall in the city center is also a good spot.

Online Game

This is where I did the best. In six days, I got 26 Tinder matches. 3/4 were locals and 1/4 were visitors. Pretty good match rate considering I swiped right on less than 500 total profiles.

I had the first threesome of my life, which I wrote about in a post on my blog, and the next night I hooked up with this Mexican photographer and had the best, most passionate sex of my life. The next morning, she came and picked me up and did a photoshoot of me on the beach.

I also ended up going out with a Mexican sugar baby, a 28-year old beautiful single mom who was previously married to a 60 year old rich American at the age of 16, and then left him for a 65-year-old British guy. I recognized very fast she only wanted me for my money and the date did not go well. Bounced her back to mine and she didn't let me escalate.

There were a couple other girls I was supposed to meet up with from Tinder but I flaked on them due to the threesome.

Suffice it to say, if you play your cards right, you should be able to meet up with at least one girl a night just from Tinder.

Instagram was a bust. I followed 3-400 girls, got about 10 to follow back. None of them were really that interested in meeting up.

Other Tips

• I stayed in an AirBnB just around the corner from Squid Roe. $55 a night and definitely the best deal logistics-wise.
• The food is very good and very cheap, but can also be expensive if you eat at the "gringo-fied" places. Stick to the Mexican part of town and you can have a meal for a couple bucks.
• Google "Cerro de la Z" if you want a nice two hour hike up to the highest peak around with a great view of the city.
• Don't take a taxi or a shuttle from the airport. Walk to Terminal 1 and take the "Ruta del Desierto" local bus, which costs like $5. Taxis and shuttles will be anywhere from 3x-10x that price.
• The best place to exchange dollars to pesos in town is at the bank under the Hotel Tesoro. However, you'll need to bring your passport with you.

I drove Baja years ago from San Diego to Cabo. About 900 miles camping on the beach. Unfortunately it was too late for the grey whales giving birth around guerrero negro. They peak Jan-feb. Still some of the most gorgeous beaches all along that coast. Some totally deserted.

I liked La Paz better as a chill city, but not for chicks. I felt Cabo was expensive enough to warrant enjoying it then leaving after banging out all the stuff to do. Same as Cancun. Certainly not there to drink in dive bars.

So it’s basically Cabo is a bunch of stuck up young Americans on vacation... Not even hot young guys (whom they already know) being able to fuck them? And 6 local Mexicans on Tinder. Maybe a rare upper class girl?

Always interesting to read about game in places I’ve been and did my own thing. Read one account and feel like you missed out. Read a few and feel like you saved yourself a lot of wasted time.

I'm sure there was hooking up going on between the groups. But it seemed like a bunch of groups of couples anyway. None of the guys traveling solo got any action that I saw.

You should try Puerto Vallarta. It's a really nice place with beautiful beaches and amazing nightlife. I was there for my friend's bachelor party. There are a lot of options to choose from. The nightclubs in Puerto Vallarta Mexico are amazing and the party never stops there. We went around town hopping bars and strip clubs.

It was an amazing experience and is a must visit if you are really into the nightlife scenes.

Cabo San Jose/San Lucas doesn't have much as far as tinder, bumble, or even hinge.

Stick to pool day game, and night club game.

(I'm assuming you're staying at a decent hotel or all inclusive hotel.)

Honestly I wasn't on my phone the majority of the time.

It's so easy to pull girls from the pool back to your hotel room, there's tons of bachelor parties, bday trips, and girl trips.

It's literally like shooting fish in a barrel.

In regards to the dating apps, it is true conventional apps like Tinder did not have a lot active users. But the app where I did manage to get a lot out of was Hot or Not. I was surprised as I thought the app was basically dead (but I guess not in Mexico).
