I have never seen an Indian girl in real life who looks anything like that. Would never guess she was from there.

However, I've met a bunch of Brazilian girls who have that kind of look.

She definitely looks Indian to me. My family is from north India and her skin colour isn't rare in the north.

In the US on average you get the some of the ugliest Indian women. A lot of of them are from Southern India, where the'yre not known for thier looks. Canadian and the UK have a lot more north Indians such as Punjabis. I'm sure that UK and Canada based RVF members can vouch that they've seen hot Indian women in clubs or bars.

Here's another thing - when's the last time you saw an Indian woman in a western dress or a skirt? The vast majority of Indian women dress every conservatively and don't show much skin on a daily basis. I've very rarely seen any of my UK or US born female cousins wear a dress or a skirt. They wear jeans most of the time. Perhaps the only time you see an Indian woman in a skimpy dress trying to dress sexy is when she's going bar hopping or clubbing.

I have some very pale skinned relatives. My home town in UK has a lot of Italians and my mum told me that she regularly got mistaken for an Italian by the Italians.

She doesn't look Indian. Looks generic Middle Eastern. Like all the rest she needed the atypically fair complexion to win.

There's a lot of Indian with non-Indian ancestry. I'm Punjabi and I did a DNA test from 23andMe and then fed the data into GEDMatch - it turns out I'm only around 40% Indian, the rest is mostly Persian, Arab and central Asian.

There's a lot of pale skinned low caste Punjabis. I can't speak for all of Indian but the whole lighter skin = higher caste stuff is bullshit for Punjabis. From my perspective Persians just look like very light skinned Punjabis.

Currently working in a hospital in Georgia, all the Indian girls look like light skinned black chicks with flat asses-they do not drink, they do not fuck, and they are all skinny (except for one who they call "big desi").

Go to UK. If you go to a university clubbing night in London you'll see drunk Indian women in the streets.

The Macedonian Army thing is a bit overstated, it was only 30,000 strong, and many of them went back to the their olive groves, fora and families after their excellent adventures out east. They've banged some locals along the way, but all in all, in terms of genetic input, just a drop in the ocean.

The ancient Indians (Maurya empire) interacted pretty heavily with Alexander's successors though. After he died his empire broke up. His general Seleucus controlled most of Iran and Afghanistan. When Seleucus' territory collapsed, there were still plenty of Greek colonists who stuck around and migrated through modern-day Pakistan and Afghanistan. There were Indo-Greek kingdoms that mixed Buddhism with Greek Hellenism. It facillitated the movement of even more foreign groups to South Asia.

They should make a natty Miss World, where they don't accept plastic surgery.

They're always having the same look win these conquests. It's a sort of light skin latina look. I don't think a blonde nordic looking woman has ever won or a pure asian or pure black.

I'm ok with that, it's the look I prefer the most too, but I don't think it's representative.

I don't know anything about modern Indian culture, but I'm guessing political correctness and SJW-ism hasn't completely overtaken the subcontinent yet. What would we call the "backwards class" in the US - forwardly inhibited?

Are they ever not medical students?

I don't think I've ever seen a winner of one of those competitions who was a waitress or studying arts.

A tell tale sign that these are Indian girls is checking out their legs. Indian girls consistently miss leg days, and have pencil thin legs with no muscle structure. This is because they are always wearing saris or churidhars that have their legs covered, so no need to work them out.

Light skinned Indians aren't hard to find, matter of fact my mom is light skinned, my father was dark skinned.

I currently have got a nice tanned skin right in the middle, I was light skinned when I was younger also.

I just wonder how many of those girls have princess jasmine syndrome - if they're OG from India they probably have at least some old school values.

Most of the Indian women who enter beauty contest come from upper middle class and/or army families. The average Indian family would be against their daughter modelling.

It's not just India's entrants but many other countries entrants too. Either this or last years Miss Malaysia was a medical student.

I'll just preface this by saying I have a very strong dislike of medical students and doctors. Partly because I'm met far too many Indian-American pre-med students (who arrogantly enough refer to themselves as future dermatologists or future cardiologists), and partly because collectively they've failed catastrophically at their primary function, which is to keep people healthy - never forget the rates of obesity, diabetes and CVD are rising.

With that out of the way:

If you look at ROI in terms of salary*status/effort, being a doctor is the best bang for your buck.

Being an engineering/computer science student would mean sleepless nights either in lab or programming. The effort required is considerable compared to the actual pay-off.

Law and business may require marginally less effort (2 year MBA or 3 year law degree in the US), but the status is significantly lower - at least until you hit Fortune 500 CEO or top law firm partner.

Notice that for the majority of people, being a med student, a young doctor or an old doctor all carry the same level of status. Nobody is going to grill you on which school you attended, your seniority or any other status-defining aspect.

This is vastly different for law and business students. Nobody gets excited about law or business students, not until they've had significant professional success.

Being a dentist (at least in the US) pays more, but once again status is lower.

Being a medical student really is the best of all worlds. It's the smart play.

I really don't believe the vast majority of medical doctors are intelligent. In fact, knowing so many of them personally, I'm convinced the majority are quite stupid.

I'm also not convinced med school is all that challenging. I've seen one too many party every weekend to actually buy into the idea that med school is gruesome. Alternatively, I've been on plenty of dates with med school girls to wonder how the fuck these bitches have the time to go on so many trips abroad all the time.

I distinctly remember one girl in particular - she was hot no doubt, but I couldn't help wonder where the hell she got the time for her 5 hobbies. Not to mention all the travelling she loved to do.

What I do believe is that most med students (and residency doctors) love to bitch and moan about how hard their lives are. Of course they have to, in order to keep up the charade that belies their high level status. If that shit really was so hard (and thereby time-consuming), how the fuck do these women have the time to enter pageants on a state, national and international level?

It's maybe not so shocking to only see medical students in these pageants when you realize they get the advantage of being perceived as intelligent, thus no doubt boosting their final score, while simultaneously having the time to actually participate in these pageants.

Remember that althought physical beauty is key in these pageants, they prefer the total package, which includes some demonstration of intelligence and high status. Med school - yeah, absolutely perfect for the job.

Thread getting derailed on career status etc. Being a doctor for many is prestige. As for time and ease of being one is going to take some doctors on here to chime in.

not too many hot doctors around. Just because they say pre med or whatever doesn't mean they will be a doctor

@Genghis Khan

Do not get it twisted, Medical School in the United States is hard as hell. I went to a Caribbean School but I still had to take the United States Medical Licensure Exam(USMLE) and Step 1 was the hardest exam I have ever encountered in my life. Medical schools first two years require a complete shut down of your social life during the school year and it is not easy. In the United States there is a reason the chicks in medical school are ugly- because medical school is hard as fuck and pretty bitches have options.

It does not end after medical school-you match in a specialty and then do 80-100 hour weeks for the next 3-4 years (5 years if you do surgery) then you finally get to make some money and have free time. It is not a cake walk or everyone would do it, by the way I did not even mention doing the prerequisites in college or the MCAT (another shitshow entirely).

I have met one hot girl doing rotations in Georgia (in another program) , and NONE when I was studying for Step 2 CS. There are 2 fuckable girls in my program out of 76 total women -mind you they are merely fuckable, nothing to get excited about. But I will say this much about the women in my program I may not want to fuck them , but they all know their medicine and they are all good students because to get to the point where you are doing rotations you have to pass Step 1 of the USMLE and that shit is fucking hard.

This has definitely not been my experience interacting with med students/doctors. I've met quite a few that were very attractive. I'd show some pics, except for the obvious privacy issue.

Though you don't have to believe me, here's a great example:

Law School is full of bad bitches, most bad law school bitches would be in medical school but Organic Chemistry ended the dream. In my years working as a surgical rep and sitting in on hundreds of surgeries I can honestly say the reason nobody gives a shit about where you graduated is because even the best programs like Harvard produce idiot physicians and brilliant ones at the same time.

After watching 30 surgeons do the same procedure 400 times I can tell who is talented and who is an incompetent boob. The top 5 surgeons I know, not one graduated from a prestigious program. What's even worse is that it seems surgeons become prized and respected less on surgical outcome and more by publishing papers. If an idiot surgeon publishes tons of papers on a particular subject, other surgeons will think he or she is a genius regardless of how the patients turn out long term.

I also want to point out that since the Obama years in 2010 affirmative action is in serious effect in Medical Schools. If you look at the enrollment numbers, people who score perfect on the MCAT actually have a lower acceptance rate than people who just score high. This is 100% caused by preferential treatment given to incompetent women. I know 1 good female surgeon (indian). The rest are terrible. Affirmative action needs to be reserved for black men only, because given experience they frequently turn into amazing surgeons.

None of this of course applies to basic physicians. Those people just pass out pills, they are not especially good at anything.

Um... I interact with Physicians every day for work. Are you sure that these are "Med-Students" and not "Pre-Med Students"?

Where I live the hot med students are about 1 in 10 ratio and almost always asian. Hot white girls and hot black girls rarely attend med school in my experience. Let me post some pics from one practice as an example and you decide.

Interesting observations. I used to work in SEO (getting people to the top of Google/Yahoo). There isn't really an academic route into this industry, but it was very similar. Those who were know in the industry as top players were those who were able to post the most intelligent sounding blog posts and over time win out in the ability to post as many intelligent sounding blog posts as possible in combination with the ability to convince people in the SEO hierarchy to give your props. People don't get props because they get results, they get props because people see a value in trying to climb influencers coat tails by doing so. The brown-nosing in this industry is chronic.

I knew this one guy in the sphere who had made about $1 million dollars in the early easy days by spamming viagra sites to the top of Google. He lost his ability to do this and ploughed all his money into making a software product that barely sold a unit. By that point his knowledge of SEO had become redundant, but he was able to maintain himself as a known top player in the industry, soley based on what I outlined above.

In this industry, the Holy Grail, is to get to the top of that hierarchy into a position where you can leave clients shining after a $500/hour phone call consultation and $5,000 report. These people are often grossly inefficient in terms of ROI.

The people in the industry who are the most competent are unknown. I knew I guy who was turning 350,00 EUR / month with one staff member, in 2005. He was shunned by this community and gave no shits as while they were haggling to get the $500/hour consultations, he was on holiday 10 months / year. If you are highly competent there are better rewards than consultation. These routes appeal to lazy, self-important narcissists.

A while back I opened up my old college graduation book and was reminded how unattractive the women in my engineering college was. There were a few girls who could pass for 'cute' (a few Asian 6.5s), but most of them failed out or left for other reasons after the freshman year.
