A Chinese geneticist has found that Chinese-African heritage is more recent than originally thought.

More recent than thought, perhaps, but if one subscribes to current evolutionary theory, we're all more or less African in origin.

Humans evolved in what is now East Africa. Roughly 60,000 years ago a single group of humans migrated out. All of the world's non sub-Saharan Africans are descended from that one migrating band of people.
