Not having much "institute"

Not having much "institute"

Let me explain what I mean by that. For example if you own a successful business then you have a lot of institute. You have clients and employees and people depend on you and need you. If you have a big social circle or a solid follower/fan base then you have institute too. Having institute is the opposite of being lean (I'm not talking about body fat). Even having a decent family (parents and/or siblings) gives you some institute.

Now if you are like me and don't have much institute (or at least it appears that you don't) then everybody who gets in touch with you, male or female, will notice it. You'll look "lean" and eager to interact and so your value will decrease. It even shows in your body language and tone of voice. There is so much talk in the manosphere on SMV however it seems it's usually neglected that having value is one thing and projecting it is another. For example I get a near 6-figure salary and dress decently but people usually think I'm a student. I remember when I was teaching classes I was more confident compared to now that I work in an office.

So my question is how one can have more "institute". Seems like I should develop a hobby or side hustle in which I have clients. Also taking responsibilities that'd put me in charge of others would help too. Lastly it may help not to think about this shortage too much (fake it till you make it). Other ideas?

I think the common word for this is "cachet".

The first thing to question is your outward appearance. Is your sense of style telling people that you're a broke and young?

My clothes are mostly from Timberland and Banana Republic. In the shoe department I can do better though. Bought a few pairs from Magnani and AE but returned them.Do you recommend any brands? Something like Carmina?

Yeah don't wear Timberland anything other than some shoes/boots. BR is ok.

But its not about the brands. They have to fit well, you have to have good posture, be in shape, make sure you are well groomed. Maybe get a new haircut, a bad haircut can make anyone look bad. If people are getting bad impressions of you before you open your mouth, these are all easy things to fix while you work on your inner game. Treat yourself with respect and others will too.

I know it's not about a brand but a good brand gives you style and quality for a reasonable price. I went to a good hairdresser and got a better haircut. However improving your style is easy if you've got the money (and I've got) but the main and most difficult aspect of my question is the human aspect.

Not having much "institute"

- aura of entitlement
- how you talk and walk
- being fit
- body language
- being handsome
- who you hang around with and how many are hot girls
- where you are seen
- your online presence for social circles

If the above constitute it, then how do you get that. Dissect it, identify where you are lacking and work on it.

Your 'institute' means jack shit if you are deriving it from your business and $$$. That's the beta provider mindset.

Be glad people aren't on that because you will draw the wrong kind of attention.

Work on the above and communicate them non-verbally.
