The snitch is black, btw. So I can see why he reported it. I don't agree with being expelled for something not done or affiliated with the school, though.

Back when I was in high school, the ridiculous policies were just starting to be implemented. Freshman year was pretty good. Chill atmosphere, nothing too ridiculous or overly strict within rules, people walked around with their ipods and earbuds in their ears, girls got to wear short skirts and tops that exposed their shoulders. Every year after that became more and more overbearing, strict, unfun, and annoying. It made me hate school and the people in charge for treating me like an imbecile. We were supposed to be young adults preparing to go out into the world, and instead we were learning to live under a dictatorship.

Honestly I can't even begin to imagine how much of an iron-fisted totalitarian dictatorship schools must be now. I think we've long past the tipping point as this trend of schools getting involved in students lives outside of the building has been going on for a while now.

The snitch was a white girl, who then forwarded the screenshots to the black kid. Something tells me something was going on... We all know that extremely hormonal wealthy teenagers crave drama.
I second Kona's opinion of Ladue... Hard to feel sorry for all involved. Now there's probably more tension at the school than before.
