Where to go in the Anglosphere?
09-09-2017, 08:27 AM
I want to move for at least one year to one of the English speaking countries:
USA - California
Canada - BC
NZ
Australia
I can get a temporary working visa for all of these places and may be staying more if I get a PR.
I don't like a climate that is too warm, so Australia is the last on the list.
If you have to choose one of these locations for one year, where would you go? Where are the better job opportunities, friendly women(if not local then at least tourists), safe cities. I'm in my late 20's, European, speak a little bit of Spanish and German.

Wouldn't recommend CA. The highest paying jobs are in CA/NY but only if you have the right background and even then cost of living means most of the money wont stay in your pocket.
Look at a good tier 2 American city. My personal favorite is Denver (which is great if you want a cooler climate). Problem is most of the other good ones are in warm climates.

If moving to Colorado, I'd recommend Fort Collins. It has CSU, relatively thin women, lots of things to do, and nice scenery. It's like a nicer, cheaper, laid back, less crowded, and more politically moderate version of Boulder. Denver is for people who just want to live in a giant city for some reason.

My favourite place in the world is British mother fucking Columbia Canada (AKA BC!) and I think that is where you should go! In the winter you will have the best choice of mountain activities such as snow boarding in Whistler or going for a rip on a ski-doo up the mountain in Revelstoke. In the summer you can hang out in Squamish to kite surf then hitch hike over to "the Island" and surf in Tofino and as I once did, do some scuba diving in Port McNeil and salmon fishing in Port Hardy. The entire time you will be puffing on some of the best weed in the world and enjoying some really nice Canadian girls, trust me west coast Canadian girls are some of the best in the best women in the Anglosphere, I LOVE BC GIRLS!!!

Lol @ BC and its amazing women...Never been to Australia or NZ, only Vancouver, LA and San Francisco. There are no issues with safety in either of those places. Job opportunities depend on your field but definitely go to the US for a better salary and cheaper prices. Everything in Canada is more expensive, from food to electronics, taxes are higher too. Also, Canadian dollar is shit, you'll be making 30% less just because of that. For women there's no good city in North America but you'll probably find more tourists in LA than Vancouver for sure.

Cali can get warm so I'm surprised it's on your list. Maybe Nocal (Humboldt County) or near the Sierra Nevada range would be a better choice.
Auz/NZ/Canada have higher tax rates and your overall purchasing power decreases, but quality of life is higher (you don't have to slave it as many hours working).

I would highly recommend against New Zealand for the vast majority of people and if Aus is about 2-3x as good as NZ(from what I can tell, this is true) I would not recommend that either.

1. Call a taxi.
2. drive to the closest Airport.
Problem solved.
