Hilarious CNN interview: Indian-American becomes Trans-Black to get into med school

Vijay Jojo Chokal-Ingam, who claims he got into medical school by pretending to be a black man, now thinks President Trump will "end affirmative action like Lincoln ended slavery."

"College demographic statistics are deceptive, because you are forgetting Pocahontas factor and that is that there are a lot of people who are whiter than winter in Alaska who pose as minorities based on flimsy reasons"

A lot of great quotes from this interview, just watch it.

He wrote a book:

Hollywood will stop at nothing when it comes to remakes.

I saw this the first time it was out.

Ha, I thought about how I could fake getting into an ivy league school posing as a female to male tranny all while struggling against my Muslim parents in an attempt to keep my faith.

I'd be much more impressed if he got in on a basketball scholarship.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

Irony: affirmative action coming to an end because of complaints from Asian minorities, up in arms because of the discrimination they faced.

Fun fact: he's the brother of that hideous beast known as Mindy Kaling's. They're not on talking terms though.

Also some of this stuff is slightly old - I've talked to my Indian-American friends about this guy a few years back. But funny to see him back in the spotlight with the recent affirmative action news.

Not happening. - redbeard in regards to ETH flippening BTC

Mindy Kaling's real name is Mindy Chokalingam. Lingam means dick, so her name is Mindy Choke-a-dick.

I went to high school with Indian guys who pretended to be black to get girls.
The shit was just bizarre back then as it is now.

This guy is full of shit. When this story broke in 2015 he was called out on his bullshit. He went to a mid tier medical school with good MCAT scores, he would have got in no matter his race. He flunked out of Medical School when he could not pass Step 1 then got a business degree. He is just trying to sell his shitty book and appeal to conservatives by shitting on black people. White people will never really accept him no matter how much he panders to them, and he will always be in his sisters shadow.

True or not, the question is WHY are YOU not doing this?

Everyone should be playing the leftists at their own games?

If that bish Senator Warren can claim to be an "Indian" American, and get paid 6 figures as a prof, then rules are meant to be broken.

I'm wondering this myself, I'm Indian, but my family's from north India so I'm nowhere near as dark as the guy in the OP. I've been applying for jobs lately and nearly every single online application asks if I am Hispanic, then asks about other races.

Maybe I should say "yes" and see what happens? Some Indians and Mexicans could definitely pass for each other.

Did he actually "drop out" or did he get found out? Funny story.

Regardless of your feelings on him making hay out of the absurdity, he was able to because the whole thing is absurd. I know what they say in Med School admissions committees.

What do they say?

"A stripper last night brought up "Rich Dad Poor Dad" when I mentioned, "Think and Grow Rich""

He did not pass Step 1 of the United States Medical Exam(USMLE) and therefore could not progress after his second year of medical school, he also had to retake Gross Anatomy before he failed the USMLE-In short, he could not cut it, could not pass the USMLE and was done.
