Who has been to the Vatican?

What is life like in the Vatican? Do they have beer, clubs and bar skanks?

I've gone there hundred times. Not much really going on, plus there's more secret service than people anyway :mrgreen"

They have millions of tourists every year, queues stretching for hundreds of meters on the streets outside if you haven't had the foresight to book at ticket in advance for the museum (thankfully I had), lots of neat architecture, even more neat sculptures, frescoes and other paintings inside the exceptionally crowded museum halls, and lots of souvenir shops on the nearby streets.
I got the impression that the VIP lounges and orgy rooms must be reserved for the staff. But maybe that was your question?

I have been a few times with no real desire to go again. I sign off on what Rossi said. Go once for the architecture and history.

According to Vatican laws, secret service can arrest you and take you into custody for 3 months without telling you what you did. So, be careful what you do there if you decide to go.

One of my French friend had to go through a lot shit in there because he was drinking beer on the street but it was like 10 years ago, I don't know if they're still enforcing rules that strict.

I've been there so many times that I've lost count. Only thing there to see is the basilic, the museum, Sistine chapel,... basically it's just art and culture. Countless nuns and priests and tourists. Asian tourists can be so annoying, I cannot explain. Next level game would be to corrupt some nun, but I'm yet to see a decent looking one.
Coolest time there was when the 007 movie with Daniel Craig was recording there around January/February 2015 if not mistaken. They were shooting all over Rome but the cars and entire set were kept in the Vatican. Also got to see Adam Sandler there.
