How much did you guys pay for accommodation in St Petersburg? I'm trying to find a place for 10 days in June but most of the places are sold out.

€200 per night for an apartment which is about 1km away from the fan park in the center. It is me and two more mates so its not that bad for seven nights.

We already booked it in March.

I spoke with some rental agencies in St Petersburg. If I book it next week for €20 per day, during World Cup they want €240 per day.

Which games are you going?

Did you look further outside of Centralny District? Public Transport is very good so if living further away from the center should not be an issue.

I am watching Brazil vs. Costa Rica and Argentina vs. Nigeria

First up, thanks a lot Gopnik, this is probably the best datasheet on St Pete on the forum. I wish I had seen it before my recent trip.

There’s practically no fat girls at all and of all the cities that I’ve visited, SP ranks number 2 for quality along with Moscow and only slightly below #1 Minsk, where I don’t remember seeing any girls with blue hair, tattoos etc which unfortunately are surprisingly common in certain scenes of SP (keep in mind that some of these hipster looking girls are still very hot though. Think femen Ukraine vs your average American feminist).

Can't agree enough with this. Some of the 'alternative' girls I saw these last days were bloody stunners. Could just imagine how nice they would look if they had a bit longer hair and less piercings.

A lot of members where saying that Moscow had slightly better talent, but honestly I just didn’t see it. I visited Moscow for a weekend during May and it seemed to me like it was on par with SP. I had read that SP had more hipster looking girls, but I also saw a fair share of them in Moscow.

I guess it's nice to get this confirmed. I was starting to doubt whether I made the right choice taking an exchange to SPb and not Moscow, but I think there's plenty of talent around in SPb to have a fun year.

The hardest part about Russian girls IMO is their flakiness. While I had experienced similar things in Poland, I found many girls there to go from 100-0 pretty quickly and sometimes I could not explain their loss of interest.

I guess I didn't stay long enough to experience this. Did you find any workaround?

Many girls in SP love to wear these choker collars that Roosh wrote about some time ago.

Damn these things are such a turnon. Just makes me want to grab them by the collar and give them a choking orgasm.

Online game & Pipelining:
Tinder works great in SP and if you have semi decent pictures you should be able to easily get dates from the app. When I arrived, I was surprised to see how even some cute looking girls would message first, and within a couple of hours I had dozens of matches and couldn’t keep up with all the conversations. These didn’t always translate to a date, but overall Tinder is VERY good here provided you speak Russian.

Yes, it's just far too much to handle. I saw some other people writing the same so here is my workaround: I paid for the tinder gold option, and do not swipe at all. Just wait for the likes to tick in to your yellow folder, do some filtering by removing all the ugly ones, and only keeping the 7+.
Then when you are ready to talk to them / arrange a date, just swipe right on one of the hot girls in there, you match instantly, and you start chatting.
The practical thing with this is that you are keeping your future matches warm by not matching with them, and you can regulate the influx. Also you keep the match recent by not letting them wait for an answer, which tends to happen if you have too many matches at once. If you start having too many acceptable girls in the folder, you can do some more filtering and weed out the 7s, only keeping the 8+'s.

Drawback with this method is that you can't ever swipe. The tinder algorithm makes the girls that have liked you come to the top of the stack, so you would have to swipe/match with pretty much all the ones you've been saving up before you can find some new faces.
Also, girls disappear from your folder after 3 or 4 weeks. I don't think their like is 'forgotten' by the app though, it has happened that I would match with a girl I recognised from the like folder even after she disappeared. But it does make it harder to find them again.

Another method to meet girls is through VK (Russian facebook). It’s a rather interesting social network that kind of works like Spotify, youtube, FB, IG and tinder all in one. My first couple of bangs actually came from VK, when I was trying to find a better flat in one of the many accommodation groups for the city. I kind of found this method by accident, but I think it might be interesting to try it out.

Here’s how you can use VK to get leads:
1) Find a VK group with many people - at least a few thousand (e.g. a group where people look for accommodation, renting a flat in Moscow or wherever)
2) Leave a comment saying you will be in the city for some time and are looking for a place to rent (in some groups you need to pay a few roubles through paypal to leave a public message on their comment board)
3) If the group is big enough and your profile pictures are good, you should start getting many girls liking them and the occasional friend request
4) Open these girls like you would on Tinder or IG
It’s all about visibility and having many girls looking at your profile. Some of these groups have dozens of thousands of members.
Smart. I'm not sure if it's necessary though, my impression is that it's excessively easy to score dates with daygame and tinder. Was the quality there any better?

I found a good pub that wasn’t usually very busy and was just 2 minutes away from my flat. I would usually take girls there and after a couple of hours bounce back to my place for dinner or tea and go for the lay. When a girl mentioned that she didn’t drink, we’d go to a quiet café also in my neighbourhood and I’d take it a bit slowlier.
...
When suggesting she comes over to your place, I think it might help to word it like this “Давай пойдём ко мне в гости” or “Ты хочешь пойти ко мне в гости?” Russians are very hospitable people and it’s even a bit rude to decline this sort of invitation. I think by phrasing it this way, it doesn’t quite seem like you’re just trying to bounce her back for sex.

I already commented this in the Russia thread, but it's absolutely brilliant. Was having trouble doing the bounce, but this makes it seem like a purely hospitable gesture.

DG is still an area I need to work more on and I barely did a dozen approaches or so. Initially I did mostly indirect, asking for places to buy certain items and so on and after a while I tried direct openers.
...
While I wouldn’t say it’s common there for guys to meet girls in the streets, the culture certainly respects men for being proactive and it discourages young girls from staying single.

Overall, I think it’s perfectly fine to be direct and Russians generally don’t like to beat around the bush anyways as they’re very no BS and surprisingly extroverted at times.
You are completely on point there. Indirect day game was getting me nowhere, and I lost 5-6 approaches to that. My Russian was probably not good enough to keep up the conversation, which may partly be the reason, but if even you speaking fluent Russian can't pull it off, I'll put that down on cultural differences.

My experience was completely different when hitting them directly. Keep it short and sweet, and no hesitation to compliment them. It seems complimenting only makes them open up, not decrease your comparative value like it would in the west. Some of my cold approaches even complimented me back, which would never, ever happen in the west I think.

You've followed my reports in the other thread so I won't repeat it here, but how would you compare DG and online game? Both seemed to work, and it seems that you focused on the latter, but I get the impression that there is a kind of glass ceiling in online game. The absolute hottest chicks may never make it to tinder, and when you decide to approach a girl IRL you have already factored in her real looks and are aiming for the stars. This may be more difficult in winter when they're all covered up though.

The drawback (from an admittedly very little pool of 1DG date and 3 tinder dates on my recent trip) with Daygame contra tinder, is that the girls may need more work. When they're on tinder, they've already decided that they want to meet guys, they probably are more used to dating, and possibly lead to a quicker bang. The one DG date I talked about in my last post told me she didn't do dates normally, so the climb might just be steeper.

Some particularly good spots for day game are the Galeria mall near Ploshchad Vosstaniya and also the smaller streets surrounding nevsky where there’s less people and it’s easier to get a girl to stop.
I second that, Nevsky was a bit too busy to get them to stop up properly.

I’d say the ideal age here for a man is around 28-30 years old and although I didn’t see a massive age difference in couples, I don’t think 35+ y.o guys should have problems with younger girls. I occasionally lied about my age when chatting up cougars and girls in their late 20s and found out I had better results saying I was a few years older.
And there I was, turning 30 this year and worrying that I might not be able to pull off the late teens-early 20s because of being too old. I guess I shouldn't have worried.

I think you're right, I must have gotten pretty lucky with that Asian chick. Any methods you developed to increase your first-date bang rate?
How often would that trick inviting them to your place "в гости" work out? What kind of conversion rate would you get once they're at your pad, did you get a lot of LMR?

Generally Gopnik, thanks for your insights. As it seems you're the only poster having spent a longer period in Piter, I really appreciate it.

Would you be able to pull a few example bangs from your memory and share your method?
Can I also ask you, how many notches a month were you clocking in? Like you, I'll have a busy life when I'm there, but I was kind of hoping 10+ a month would be doable.

Personally, I try not to analyze too much and don't really think in terms of 'conversion rates' but I generally think that the в гости expression is a nicer way of trying to bounce a girl back. It might have been good luck but it got me better responses than saying something along the lines of 'let's go to my place for a drink'.

TBH 10+ notches a month seems near impossible to me unless you sacrifice quality for quantity or have some combination of looks + game + money/logistics. SP is not really a place to rack up loads of notches in my opinion and the winter months in particular are an absolute mood killer. If I remember correctly, it took me almost 2 months to get the first notch (and Russian flag), mostly due to shit logistics, horrible weather and tight shedule.

I eventually moved to a nicer place, the weather started getting better and by May it felt like mating season was in place and girls were more forward and easy-going. I had 2 regulars and also got a ONS from a club and a two first date lays from tinder. At one point I was seeing 3 girls and had to ditch one of the regulars cause it was all too much maintenance. I'm not sure I'd rate any of these girls higher than a 7 tbh, but my standards might be different to yours. I did have a near same night lay with a solid 8 and a date with a 9 that had heads turning in nevsky. I don't consider myself to have above average looks or game and I was also on a pretty limited budget so overall I think I did ok. Most forum members should do better than me provided they know at least some Russian.

We'll put that down on empiric experience rather than statistic then [Image: wink.gif] But it's a great tip.

Hmmm I guess I just need to come back on earth. It was 25C+ in Piter last week, so the summer effect was in full flow. Thankfully I'll start the year in August, so I'll get a few more months of hopefully acceptable weather before going into full winter depression.
I think the logistics will be good now that I've found a flat, and if I get a job the money should be okay. I can't comment on looks but I have never felt that I was particularly above average in Western Europe. And on the game front, everything is relative: if you compare to most local sausages, anyone from this forum would have a hundred times more game than them. But I would assume that my game is low-level compared to most brothers here.

Well it sounds like your rota was pretty sweet for that, and if you found that 3 regulars was too high maintenance, then you may have yourself stopped looking any more. I'm not sure what my rhythm will be, but I was thinking to try racking up as many notches as possible in august-october and selecting a handful of them for a regular rota in the winter. May be too ambitious though.

How did you go about getting the date with the Nevsky 9? it seems like for all of the negatives on Nevsky prospekt (too busy, girls in too much of a hurry) can't hide one thing: most of the talent in Piter goes down that street at least once in a while.

Sorry be picking your brains some more, but here's one last question: how did you handle the MLTR / Multiple regulars at the same time? Were the girls cool with it?

I meant to say that we went on a date around nevsky but I met her off tinder. She looked really good in pictures but I assumed she would be no more than a 7 in person. Turned out she was just as attractive IRL.

Come to think about it, only one of my bangs came from night game, one was from social circle and the rest were off tinder or vk. I had quite a few makeouts at clubs and also a near miss where we bounced back to her place but couldn't close after some LMR.

One of them playfully joked about me seeing other girls but I obviously never told them about it. My job was very unpredictable so I had a good excuse for flaking and re-scheduling dates.

If she was joking about it, she probably had an idea... sounds like "don't ask, don't tell" if you ask me. Which works perfectly fine for me, really [Image: angel.gif]
But otherwise they didn't take it up themselves? Most western girls would at least make allusions to exclusivity once you've been dating for a few months, if only to test your commitment.

If anyone else has some experience running mLTR on FSU girls, please give a shout!

Up until now I've only run VK for closing DG approaches and moving tinder matches out of tinder. But I have seen a couple of girls liking my pictures and such like, and I suppose you could just open them like you would on any other platform.

I'm visiting SP from 9th to 13th June. Will any fellow RVF'ers be in town?

Not interested in the soccer or the exorbitant prices that go along with it so getting in before that kicks off.

Anything can work however IME girls don't like going back to hotels due to the perceived look of being a prostitute, I made that mistake first time out and ever since, I stay in apartments.

Thank you Bikal !
In NYC and Latin America is not a big deal after you built comfort, but I had had refusals for that in Europe (I think was the main reason to not go for the first time in to my place being in a hotel).

So I agree that apartments are better. The problem is when you have a short visit...logistics are easier in a hotel

Maybe I was wondering, since in FSU countries some girls are more into the wallet, if going to a nice hotel could be more acceptable for the first bang

I'll give a little feedback since this thread just got bumped. The descriptions of the bars Gopnik covers is pretty much on par with what I found. Crazy Wine was a great place to start the night at 8PM or so. It's always about 80% women at that time and the way the indoor table is set up you end up sitting next to or across from at least one or two other groups. If you look at my day game map below, it was also really effective to walk this route any time after 7pm, ideally with a friend, and find 2-sets to invite on instadates. Literally took us less than 10 minutes almost every time. The bars on Rubinstein normally close at 2am, so if you still haven't pulled by then or it's dead, the fallback option is Dumskaya St, basically a trashy block of bars with a bunch of young people partying. You can still get some talent there though... best options are Banka Soundbar and Nebar 2.0. Ruki Vverkh was good Thur-Sat as well, not as trashy as the rest of the street and actually worth going out of your way for occasionally. They normally charge a deposit of $12. Other clubs that are great for picking up are Del Mar and Union.. classier girls will frown on these places, but if you are looking for sluts, definitely check them on Thur-Sat. If you end up at Stackenschneider, Mosaique can be worth a look. Those are the bars to go to at 3-4am when the rest of the city is dying off on Friday and Saturday, as they are open until 8am or later.

The best date bar I found was a cool cocktail bar called Orthodox.. it's right on Rubinstein in the alley closest to the McDonalds. Another cool date place is a live jazz bar called The Hat.

One important thing to note is to not go places girls recommend. Time after time we regretted it, you end up going to a karaoke bar that charges cover and drinks are triple price. Unless you really trust her or you've been there before, you gotta be the one that makes the move. This applies both in person and on Tinder. I almost recommend starting instadates at a place not too fancy- Punk Brew, Rock Bar.. something like that, to see if they are genuinely interested or just wanting to drag you to some expensive place.

For day game, this is as good of a route as you can ever ask for in day game.

You can walk that route any time from the morning until midnight and there will be an endless supply of people to talk to. My friend would just go back and forth of one the bridges near the Kazan Cathedral and not even bother leaving his block. Overall the girls are really receptive there and an extremely high percentage ended up on instadates... I'd guess close to 50%.

Your apartment should be on this route as well, it'll make your life a lot easier.

Can anyone take a guess regarding what this girl's mix of ethnicity is? She's from & speaks Russian; my presumption is that she's half Russian, half one of those unspellable countries that also speak Russian / similar. She has a dark tone under her pale cover, very brown eyes, distinct facial features more typical of Lebanese women. Really intrigued to find the right city full of girls like this. Not sure St Petersburg is right or not - need to figure out her identity first (P.S. - ASMR is really interesting for getting a glimpse into what the 8's and 9's of a particular place can look like.)

Tatar, one of my friends is married to a woman who looks similar to her and she's a Tatar, likewise and ex was similar who had Tatar genealogy so I'd presume the girl in the video is of Tatar descent.

Most likely to be found in the Volga and Urals, largely the Republic of Tatarstan.

I've been here about a month now and everything both Gopnik, Banin and DigitalNomad has written seems pretty accurate.

I'll add that Do Immigration is a great date venue. Go all the way to the top floor and there's a great atmosphere, view of the sky, cheap wine and couch seating.

It's been such a varied experience with the girls. From the cute young Russian girl who turned out to be a sex-crazed alcoholic to an equally young almost asexual girl who never drank alcohol. Or from the girl who made a scene when I grazed her leg because I wasn't her boyfriend to the young inexperienced 18yo muslim girl who ended up as a first day lay.

There are some general tendencies though:

- Tinder is good here. Can confirm.
- Girls are flaky. Can confirm.
- Girls are very conservative, but things are taking a turn. Can confirm.
- Although I got my flag the first week, this is not a good location for short-term trips. Can confirm.
- You can make do with English, but speaking Russian makes your experience a lot better here. Can confirm.
- The weather gets shit fast. Can confirm.
- Hipster culture is quite big here. Pink/blue hair, piercings and tattoos. Can confirm.
- A good studio/1BR apartment in the center is around 30,000-45,000 per month depending on the standard. Can confirm.
- The girls crave dominance and respond extremely well to being disciplined. Can confirm.
- The city is beautiful and there are tons of things to do. Can confirm.
- There is a friendly non-PC culture and it's easy to talk to people. Can confirm.

I perhaps had exaggerated expectations, but I'm a little disappointed with the quality I can manage here. I've been on dates with stunners, but I don't do Instagram and can't/won't compete with the attention they get on there.

No doubt the dating market is something else here though. It really feels like there is no male competition at all. Female exchange students are completely desperate and regretting coming here. They can't find any Russian guy they are interested in, and all the male exchange students are chasing Russian girls.

Got a while to go so will report back. If anyone's in this city, it'd be fun to meet someone from this forum. Would be a first for me.

There are some funny stories I could share, but I'm a bit worried about getting doxxed.

- The girls crave dominance and respond extremely well to being disciplined. Can confirm.

Buffas,

I will be arriving tomorrow around 3 PM in Chernyshevskaya District. Let me know if you want to meet up, I'm traveling across Russia with a friend of mine. We're both from New York City, and it'll be cool to meet you.

Well, Rossi already knew it or could simply use Google Search (even a 10 year old does it to find information)...but he just wanted to post 'something' again. [Image: smile.gif]

Another update from Piter.

Two amazing places that haven't been mentioned on here:

1) El Copitas. A very small and intimate "secret" cocktail bar where you have to reserve seats. You call when you're on the street and they'll come out to pick you up. Then you're shown to your seats, given stories of their cocktails and a welcome drink. And then you get a goodbye cocoa/coffee drink to-go. Service there is amazing and it's super cozy. Local girls don't seem to know this place and they're very impressed. It's perfect for a second date.

2) Salsa club on the corner of Mayakovskaya station. A secret Latin club that is not advertised anywhere. You cannot find it anywhere online and I'm not even sure it has a name. It's full of latinas and some Russians that know how to dance salsa, bachata and reggaeton. Good talent. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday I think. Saturday is the best day. You can even go there after clubbing at like 5 in the morning and it'll be packed. To get there, you go into the mall at the corner of Mayakovskaya station and then to the fifth floor. You can get out of paying the entrance fee if you convince them you are from Latin America.

Moscow, Kiev and Minsk are often discussed on here. Interestingly, Piter has better talent on average than all of these cities in my opinion. Moscow has these clubs with insane face control for girls like Gypsy where you'll see more talent in one place than anywhere else in the world. But on average, it doesn't beat Piter (despite Moscow girls dressing better with barely any hipsters and with lots of plastic surgery). Kiev is ruined by hordes of foreigners, and even the secret places without foreigners, although the talent is good, it doesn't beat Piter. Minsk has good talent and very few foreigners but still doesn't beat Piter either.

Moscow is also super different from Piter in many ways. Whereas people are rude af until they're tipped in Moscow, service is great in Piter. Clubs and bars in Moscow are filled with tables and VIP sections, which are hard to find in Piter. And it's honestly hard to tell rich from poor in Piter. Nobody is extravagantly dressed and not too many expensive cars. Piter has very few high-end places.

Piter and Minsk seem way more livable than Moscow and Kiev to me. If you have a lot of cash and wanna blow it for the most fun, Moscow and Kiev are the places to be though.
