that being said I just came back from a bit of skateboarding at the local community college .... and I got two numbers and two snapchats from the ladies.... Did the skateboarding help? sure. It gave me something to do while waiting for more chicks to walk by, and a reason to be hanging out on campus when im not a student there (i go to a full on university up the road), and got me some attention from people here and there. but getting the numbers was mostly game not the skateboard.
can skateboarding get you laid? absolutely. in any field, being the best gets you the respect and admiration of men - and guess what follows - the admiration of women. when there is a group of high school kids out skateboarding.. guess who the alpha is --- the best skateboarder. I was idolized for my skateboarding abilities by the neighborhood kids and likewise me and my homies looked up to the better skateboarders - they were our heroes.

Ol' Lenny used to skate the boards. Most do not know this. I got passably good at it when I was young and poor enough to have to budget for replacing bearings. I also got pretty good at repairing skate shoes with hot-glue sticks and a lighter.
These skills may or may not have been factors in getting to kiss a few girls at drunken parties and cop a feel of the occasional tit. Then again, perhaps my acne was taking that particular weekend off.

In any case, I got back on a board the other day and it turns out that once you actually build some upper body strength (y'know, that stuff girls like to look at and touch) then my physical build was simply too top heavy to function as a skater.
Take a look at the average skater. His centre of balance rests pretty much at his stupid, oversized shoes. It's possible that having a lame-ass chain attached to your empty wallet helps with that.

In high school, I was quiet kid, didn't talk much and was socially intimidated by people I didn't know well. this was partly because I grew slower than the other kids, and I was physical smaller and mentally younger than they were. after school though, I would go out skateboarding. the more I advanced in skateboarding, the more I became the idol of the middle schoolers and neighborhood kids. and guess what these kids would go home and talk - and guess who would be rather curious to meet me? their sisters

in those years i didn't really care about girls until high school prom came around and I couldn't get a date because I was so low status around kids my own age (unless they skated of course, the skateboarding earned the respect my social skills didn't)the best tricks I hit were ollieing a 9 stair, kickfliping a long 6, handrail on a six stair, tre flip a long four, hardflip a four .. on flatground i got nollie tre-flip and laser flip
If I had found this forum and it's teachings in those years, shiiiiiiiiiiiit ......things could have been a lot better for me.... gaming the high school girls would have been insane ........... but I can say that skateboarding and playing guitar taught me that I could teach myself things very advanced things. Things which at first seemed impossible, soon became realistically attainable, and then occasionally doable, and then nothing special.
in the case of skateboarding failure hurt physically, but I kept trying and didn't give up. just like cold approach you had to have the balls to go for it and hit that handrail or clear those stairs.
When I first set out to solve my problem with women and socializing in general, it was the knowledge that I had trained myself to become a guitarist and a skateboarder that gave me the self confidence that I could learn game. if i learned how to laser flip... how hard could getting girls be? - I just needed to try harder... ...
