We have been seeing this type of journalism for a few years now, or at least since it became fashionable to attack people via proxies who upset their feelings.

With the fake news hysteria and the lies surrounding it I believe we could be seeing more of this because the field has been prepped. Fringe elements are easy targets and journalists still have integrity as far as many regular people care.

We might see the Mirror as a rag to wipe your arse with but it feeds the mindset of enough people, such as Antifa and when a news outlet asks for your work to be published you will do as they say, regardless of what legal minefield they set themselves up for.

They have large reserves set aside to combat any legal issues and give help to journalists by offering to redact stories made in the paper. By then it is too late and you might have had your home burned down.

They're snakes and should be treated as such.
