Destin , Florida is good during Memorial Day weekend.

Has that place changed much over the years? I spent a week there as a kid and thought it was a completely nothing place.

Memorial day weekend kicks off the Summer in the Panhandle. People from Atlanta to Jackson, Miss. go there. Its packed and a good time... good dudes to chicks ratio, Stay around the Bar AJ's on the strip.

Thanks. I don't even remember that strip being there back then. It looks like a good time. All I remember was that there was some movie theater that served alcohol and there were some seafood restaurants that didn't have much going on in. Is Fort Walton Beach better than Destin?

Edit: Harry T's and Hog's Breath Salon, the two Destin venues which I remember from literally thirty years ago, are still in business. What are the best places to stay there? Rentals look a little expensive, but definitely not wildly expensive and mostly not well located.

Probably too late to get a cheap place within walking distance of the strip, if you are younger ...Panama City Beach is good on Memorial day weekend too, either one is good...if you have or know someone who has a boat...ask what Crab island is in destin... big boat party ... Similar to Lake Havassu in AZ

Anyone know the best rooftop spots in San Diego? Preferably in Gaslamp?

If you do can you give me the scoop?

Omni Hotel is good. Use HotelTonight to find a lower cost place to stay. I would book now.

I would rather go to Miami. Cheaper, better weather, better food, better beach scene, hotter women.

Miami is cheaper than San Diego? Word? Also it's definitely not cheaper after I factor in the difference between a 90 minute drive from my apartment and a plane across the entire country both ways which ALONE is gonna cost me $600-$700 bucks even if I book it now. Then add in a hotel/airbnb for 4 days in a good location close to the action and that's anywhere from another $500 to $1000 dollars. Now add in the cover charges, drinks, and food of when I go out. That's a $2000 weekend easily.

I'm assuming you didn't read the thread as I clearly laid out my exact reasons for choosing San Diego and even described my living arrangements..... Come on man.

San Diego isn't cheap, easily $300+/night for a decent hotel on a holiday weekend. Round trip LAX-MIA is $300/rt booked early enough. Yes Miami is way cheaper than San Diego, with cheaper/higher quality hotels on the beach, not downtown in a marginal downtown area. Higher quality girls in Miami hands down, yes, unless your into socal white tatted pierced fatties and boring 'mericans coming in from Escondido and Riverside to live it up IG style in SD. I would float a little extra coin and have a memorable weekend in an exciting place, than take a staycation.

Personally the only way to do SD is in a beach house in Del Mar or Encinitas, with a surf board.

Any chance of posting a Long Beach data sheet? I used to live there and have posted what I can on Belmont Shore and Pine Avenue, but my information is outdated and not really complete.

Yeah I can do one on Pine. I live on Pine and do all my gaming here. Almost 90% of my bangs in the last 3 years have been a result of approach game on Pine Ave.

I don't do Belmont much since my logistics are based on downtown/Pine ave though.

I say if you are above college age, it may be best to avoid going out in Belmont entirely. Ratios are also horrible there. The worst I have seen worldwide. Pine Avenue tends to draw an older crowd than Belmont (everything is older than college age), more minorities, and more people from other parts of Southern California (Huntington, Newport, even Ventura and Santa Barbara). A decent number of college girls, mostly Hispanic and Asian, still go out on Pine Avenue. I liked Alegria and the Yardhouse was good for volume, but the wait to get into the bathroom was the worst I have ever seen and you might spend your whole night in line. Two urinals for a huge place which serves quarts or whatever of beer. No exaggeration.

Yeah I'm 26 so not super into the college crowd. I have a few venues on Pine pretty much on lock though. Namely Shannon's and Moonshiners. Partially Federal Bar. I've done well for myself in Long Beach due to I used to work at one of the big chain gyms downtown and am also very extroverted so there's some venues where I walk in and simply know a buncha people. Also helps being cool with the staff at several venues. At a few places on Pine I don't even get ID'd and just skip the entire line since I'm a local and know the bouncers. Pretty cool to be with a girl or a couple friends and just walk in and cut the line. Long Beach is definitely not a pussy paradise though. Lots of stuck up Cali girls, lots of flakes, lots of GAYS, and lots of So Cal bullshit. I've made out with tons of girls down here but only fucked a couple handfuls of em directly.

Long Beach is okay but like all So Cal night spots logistics are a huge problem when you have girls coming in big groups from completely different cities since LA is not an actual city it's just a conglomeration of different cities.

A place that could sometimes be a surprise was the Reno Room, around Redondo and Broadway, a little west of Belmont Shore. Generally horrible ratios. I actually thought it was a gay bar at first, but eventually saw some girls there. Friendly staff and generally friendly customers. I got lucky there, more than once. There was some guy who used to always go there who had a habit of starting fights with people in the place like every night, which would obviously cockblock people. I got along with that guy, but nobody else did. Go figure.

Can a player do any venues in San Diego suited up? Or would it be seen as trying too hard? I know where I'm from in the South Bay a suit would be seen as overkill.

I've looked at videos online of people in the Gaslamp and a lot of girls are in heels and dresses so a suit should be good to go in that case. I feel like when women dress up they wanna hang out with guys that are also dressed up.
