Good info! I definitely want to go surfing in Ecuador, hopefully this summer. I will throw a data sheet once I do it!

The harder you practice, the luckier you get.

I know a lot of guys had good times in Ecuador and Peru, but I had trouble finding attractive women who spoken English (my Spanish was very weak when I visited). It didn't help that much of the time my ass was exploding.

Yeah, this has been the case everywhere I've been in South America except for Rio de Janeiro. One of the best decisions I ever made was doing a semester abroad in Chile and getting good at Spanish, it's an absolute game-changer if you speak these girls' language. Incidentally, I've never gotten food poisoning and I eat sketchy shit like street food and tap water all the time. I must have an iron stomach.

Your parents may have passed their immunity along to you. That, and maybe you were exposed enough as a child that you're good.

neil, what happened on the other chick you got back to your room?!?! how come you didnt seal the deal? LMR?

The second girl came on to me strong. She said she saw me with the first woman which she claimed was a friend of her. She spoke good english and we danced a lot. She was there with one of her many brothers. I danced with her and than she danced quite sexy with her brother. I didnt trust the brother story and gave her the cold shoulder, turned around and started dancing with two other girls. This really pissed the first one of.
Later she pulled my arm and pulled me away from the two girls,(who didnt speak English at all) and we started talking and dancing again.
I kissed her right in front of her brother and outside a lot when smoking a cigarette.
She kept saying she was not looking for a fuck and i should talk to other girls if i wanted to fuck. She agreed on going to my hotel room and i thought she was bluffing or testing me.
She( a small black girl) was grinding my dick on reggaeton beats a lot.
We went to my room and there trouble started. Once i started kissing her , she got excited but pushed me away after a while. She said she didn't want to have sex. I kept trying and pushing but she kept her clothes on all night ( even when sleeping) She was quite drunk also. I was really annoyed by her behavior and went to sleep just holding her and occasionally giving her the cold shoulder. Nothing worked.
Next morning i got some kissing and boob sucking action with her but nothing more. i left early.

In hindside i shoulden't have taken the chance with her. i thought once i start kissing she will loosen up like many girls before her which said not to fucjk but did after getting turned on by my style of kissing.

ironically i was suppose to meet another girl whom i went out with before. ( actually me and 4 girls) but couldn't find her and her friend because it was extremely crowded at ladies night at bungalow 6. Shitloads of hot girls) So i went to Nobar where i met the light skinned hottie.
At the end of the night i ran into the girl i was supposed to meet, she was with some dorky guy and i got really pissed by this fact because i seen her leave with another guy before to his hotel. That was pretty much a sure fuck, although you never know for sure .

It surprises me that some guys are not into Ecuadorian girls. i think there hot although on the streets its hard to spot a hot one but at night there where tons of bangable girls.

I have the same problem now in Peru. Nothing on the streets but at night all the hotties go out.
I had a terible night in Lima last night, i went out to barranca with lots of bars and reggaeton clubs. As far as i could see i was the only obvious white guy, really sticking out. This affected nothing. No flirting or looks from girls. On;y once girls in a bar were looking and gigling but when i went over there, they left in a hurry.
I had a hard time spotting girls together, 95 % were mixed groups or couples. I did a few aproaches but most didnt respond and one even ignored me and pretened not to hear me.
Am i losing my mojo ?
I must say i was not in the mood because the hottie i dated and fucked for 5 days in Lima before, said she didnt want to "mix feelings" and didnt want to see me again. At first she said she couldnt wait to see me again and wrote to me several times on facebook in the weeks i was in Ecuador and Colombia.

Having a hard rime now, luckely im gonna see a 20year Spanish nympho girl again in La paz/Bolivia in a few days. If she doesnt bail also.

I dealt with this same bullshit with a Venezuelan that I was pipelining that came through New York. I did the tourist thing with her, and we had a great time. Hand holding, hugging, etc. Her last night, I was determined to get that ass. I had to really talk my way up to her room before, but this time it was no big deal. We got relaxed on the bed, and I started puttin' in work. I had her sitting on my lap kissing. I got her on the bed and started groping and kissing. Every few minutes she'd stop and say she didn't want to have sex. I'd say "okay," and go back to work, figuring I could break her down. To no avail. Problem 1 was the red tide had rolled in. Then and she was a little insecure about her body. Finally, I was tired and threw in the towel. Before I left I kept going back in for more kisses. I went for her neck, but she wouldn't give it up. She kept teasing me, saying I was bad, and that the temptation was strong. But she wouldn't even let me peel any clothes off.

I've read a lot about Bungalow 6 and NoBar, any other bar/club recommendations?

I think I have to ride on one of the chivas before I leave.

Don't ride a chiva bus, they're a scam. You pay way too much money to ride around with a bunch of other gringos for an hour and a half drinking weird watered down cinnamon-tasting "liquor" that is almost impossible to drink enough of to get drunk. Spend your money on making it rain in the club instead, you get much more bang for your buck that way.

Much thanks to GC for his advice.

My time in Quito is over. If you're an ass man, you'll be disappointed with the city. I had just came from Panama City prior to and there's an abundance of booty there.

However, Quito is full of cute chicks who dress well and are in good shape. Most are homebodies because they have live with their parents who give them curfews and they don't have money. This makes it easy to get dates, but you won't be out late. I went out with a chick who had to be back home by 10:00. The people there are also very religious. I met another girl who invited me to her house for "merienda" (which is what they call dinner instead of "cena") and there were paintings of Jesus in every room of the house, including the bathrooms.

I tried to avoid Gringolandia like the plague, but I did make the trek over there one evening. For those of us who need it, there's a Dominican barbershop close to I believe Foch and Amazonas. I was absolutely shocked to see my peeps there. It's a little hole in the wall and you'll know it because they're always blasting bachata out of there and it's the only place in Quito where you'll actually see a group of Black people. I was able to get the best "serquillo" (tape) I've ever had in life for $2.

Just a couple of tips:

1. Go to Quito with a lot of single bills. Most small businesses won't have change. The chain spots that do will usually give you dollar coins, so if you get $5 back it will be 5 coins instead of a bill.

2. Only take the taxis with the blue labeled numbers on the driver's side door and the windshield. These are legal, safe taxis. Anything else is illegal and thus risky. At night time, take taxis, they're incredibly cheap so spend the $1 or whatever to get home instead of trying to walk it.

3. Quito is not as dangerous as advertised. Gringolandia, which is where most people will go, is packed with cops at all times, in other parts of the city you'll see a lot of armed private security dudes. At night, it's better to roll with at least one other person just to be safe.

4. It is cold at night. It was so cold that I was trembling under my sheets, and it was "summer time". I ended up sleeping most nights in pants and a t-shirt.

5. The average dude is a dork, even an American dork is cooler than most of these dudes, and they can't dance for shit. They look at little more competent when salsa comes on, but anything else, they look stiff and out of their element, but this goes for most of the girls too.

6. If you're tall, bring whatever clothes and shoes you need, because you won't find your size in anything since the people there tend to be real short. I'm 6'4. I had a lot of people, men and women, ask me about my height, among other things.

Not sure I understand why you avoided gringolandia. It's the best place to find local chicks who speak English.
I really liked Ecuador and especially Quito. You can easily live a humble but nice life there on probably 1000 to 1250 dollars a month granted you're not going out 7 nights a week. I usually spent around 30 dollars a day there including my own hotelroom, 3 meals a day and going out to a club . Not going out meant spending only 7 dollars for a hotel room and about 5 dollars on food and water.

I will post a thread about why I think Ecuadorean women are the worst in the Americas soon. Glad you had a decent time in Quito, but I would never recommend Ecuador to anybody. Some tall good looking gringos do well here, becauase there is a small but decent sized contigent of gingo groupies....so it doesnt seem so bad. But to the majority and those who have lived awhile here the women andthe people here are awful

Neil, that's very true, but since Spanish is my native language, I don't need them to talk to me in English.

I think Quito is a very interesting city with a lot that's worth seeing for someone who's into that while they travel.

However, for game purposes, it is definitely not the best spot, unless you're a rook and need to get some reps in before you hit up a more competitive environment.

I came for the former, and just happened to meet some women along the way.

Internet people...ive gotten about a dozen Ecuador flags mainly through Badoo, Tagged, CouchSurfing. I've done about 4, one month trips in the last few years. (My family and I are Ecuadorian but I've lived in the States since i was 8). I go on about a dozen dates the first 4-5 days there, coffee at Azucar or CoffeeTree, then just mine the one''s with the most potential; very hard to get the one night stand there. It only happened to me once, after a long day date, followed by venue changes and nighttime liquor and only with a girl who was on the slutty end of the spectrum.

I sure helped that you are an Ecuadorian who lives in the USA. You must speak fluent Spanish.

The one night stand i had took me 45 minutes from meeting to get her in a taxi. She didnt speak any english, i guess she really needed a dick, although she held of for a long time.

Help ain't the word. There's no advantage like "Home field advantage." Plus technically ain't a flag if you are from that country. I was in Ecuador for almost three weeks and didn't get a flag either. I wasn't tripping too much about it because I wasn't attracted to the majority of the girls I saw....Don't get me wrong, I am not one of those "I only fuck models" guys but at a minimum I like girls to at least have a resemblance of an ass. Ecuador was Uni-Leg galore, This is probably the reason why no girls over there wear thongs...The best looking girls I saw all trip were in Cuenca but the night spots were cliquish as hell and the girls were snobs. I found Day Game to be difficult as well because I seldom saw girls walking by themselves or as a pair. They were always either walking with a dude or large mixed sets.

It's interesting how different people have different opinions about a place.

I met this nigerian dude in DR who said that women in Ecuador had the fattest asses that he has ever seen and that they were very easy. I was actually thinking about going to Quito for few months, now that I read your comment, I am thinking fuck that.

I would second this. Quito is a very cool town with lots to see and do, but among large cities in South America, it has the ugliest women I've ever seen by a pretty large margin. I stayed more in the old city rather than Mariscal like most travelers, so maybe that's a different experience, but in two weeks I saw maybe two attractive women.

Many thanks to GC and Jariel for their advice on Quito. I just spent 2 weeks in Quito (broken by a short trip to Banos) after spending some time in the Galapagos (must-see) and here's my take on the place:

Accommodations & Lifestyle:

First three nights stayed in a private hostel room with shared bathrooms for $10 USD / night in the El Centro Historico to do my site siteseeing. It's one of the most well preserved in Latin America and worth checking out. I then migrated to a small 1BR Airbnb for about $35 USD in La Mariscal close to Plaza Foch over a set of Thurs-Mon to check out the party scene. It was fun to be so close to all the action on a weekend but it's Gringolandia as others have mentioned, so move up north if you want a more authentic day-to-day Ecuadorian experience.

After my trip to Banos, I stayed one week in a private 1 BR Airbnb in the Benalcazar neighbourhood close to Quicentro for about $35 USD / night to try to close out all my leads. I really dig this area as it's very modern and you can get a pimp pad along the apartment towers overlooking the park on Ave. Shyris for about $50-$60 USD / night. The big malls nearby are good for day game, it's close to big Parque Carolina and you can access La Mariscal in 30 minutes by taking a 25 cent trolley bus near the stadium. Just be sure to take an Uber or taxi home as it gets dangerous later on. There's a few modern gyms nearby too but the drop-in for a workout was pricey at $7 - $8 USD. You can buy a 20 time pass for $80 USD which is better value if you decide to stay longer.

Girls & Nightlife:

First of all, I didn't get laid but it was not for lack of trying, so take my view with a huge grain of salt. If you speak at least low-mid intermediate level Spanish here like me and have any Game at all, you will be able to meet quite a few girls, make out at the bar, get phone #'s, etc pretty easily.

You can try day gaming in Universidad Central del Ecuador in the Miraflores neighbourhood as well. It's a decently sized campus. I spent an afternoon checking it out here after going up the Teleferiqo in the morning, but didn't really see that many lone girls walking around and only ended up doing one approach (she had a bf).

All the usual places others have mentioned are pretty popping in La Mariscal. I probably went out 6 times in total. My favourite is definitely Bungalow 6, especially on Wed / Fri / Sat nights. Other nights are not worth the effort in my opinion and more suitable for dates. They have $5 cover that comes with one drink, but by the end the bouncers didn't even ask for cover as I became a semi-regular. I like that they pour the Cuba Libres here quite strong here and you should try the ginger beer on the 3rd floor beer garden for $3.50. The owners are American expat guys and the bartenders are friendly. This place is a lot of fun regardless if you pull, and I spent a Halloween Sat night costume party here as well which was a blast.

Now, a really fly joint that hasn't been mentioned yet is a place called La Juliana on Ave 12 de Oct. It is a two-story bar / lounge located in a pretty upscale neighbourhood in a large mansion / house. It is very upscale by Ecuadorian standards. I met a few local girls at a Japanese restaurant on a Fri night and they invited me to go with them. Never one to turn down an impromptu adventure, we shared an Uber there. It's maybe a 10 minute walk east of La Mariscal.

The cover was $12 USD per person and they have a swipe card to pay system where the tab is tallied and paid at the end of the night. The whole place was decorated in Halloween theme and all the staff had costumes or face painting on as well. The whole place has a very classy feel. There is large dance floor with two bars downstairs, live band and DJ. The second floor has more couches, another bar, tables and a railing overlooking the dance floor.

The drinks were a bit pricey at $5 USD for a beer and $7 for whiskey or other cocktails, although the bottles of rum and whiskey were reasonable for $40-50 USD which is good if you come here and roll in group of 4-5 to share. The best part about this place is that a lot of the girls here are middle-higher class, probably with more income in the late 20-30’s range. They dressed very well in cocktail dresses and maybe half in sexy Halloween costumes.

Best of all, I didn’t detect one other foreigner here besides me and it was all locals. There were lots of mixed sets and guys with girl type set-ups but some all-girl sets to be had as well. I ended up with a pretty hot girl I met on the dance floor for a while but she was pretty disinterested despite us dancing together and even me introducing her to the girls I came with for preselection. She left me for her friends a few times so I didn't chase. I struck out but it was a refreshing change to be outside of Gringolandia, partying with locals in a place I otherwise would not have found. This place could be a dope weekday date venue as well. Overall it was fun times, with classy local crowd outside of La Mariscal, with good Latin music. Despite the price tag, I would definitely go back and recommend to RVFers

Conclusion

Anyway, in night game there's a lot of your typical mixed sets like usual in Latin America, but there's enough 2-4 girl only sets that should be your main play. Note that they will expect you to buy drinks. I met a slim sister in cocktail dress combo at Bungalow and made out / grinded / danced with one of them. Went out on a date on Sun, brought her home after but couldn't close the deal as she really wanted to leave for work the next day and wouldn't proceed past make-out.

For me, the hardest part was getting them to come out on a date and closing the deal. Girls that seem to really be into you in person will ghost over text. Tinder also wasn't great either as the flake rate is high, even after one coffee meeting where they look at you with big anime eyes like you're the shiniest thing. It seems to me that most girls with jobs work a lot as 8AM-5PM Mon-Fri is not uncommon here. Fri / Sat are their girls nights out and Sun is their family day. Therefore their free slot to see you is limited but that's just my theory. Also not sure how being a catholic country with its conservatism plays into this.

Overall, I liked Quito as a travel destination as the cost of living is good, the girls are cute (not that many stunners around, although I've met a few), decent nightlife, with a good mix of touristy things to see and modern amenities. For a short trip < 2 weeks though, I think getting a bang of 6+ quality would be difficult. Would rate the city as a B-.
