If you are like me, you probably experiment with different openers, routines and conversation topics to find out what works best. I have even said things that I think are stupid just to find out if they might work or not. This has been the approach always advocated by Roosh ever since I started reading his blog in 2007.
So I have noticed that I get consistently bad results when I talk to a girl about other guys hitting on her. My most recent example is from yesterday, when a girl sat down at a corner of the bar where there were at least 6-7 dudes. Not that the whole bar was a sausage fest, but just this particular corner had dudes only, perhaps because there was a TV nearby playing EuroSport.
So I opened this girl with "You are a brave woman".
Her "Why?".
Me "For coming to the guys corner of the bar, where bunches of guys will start hitting on you any minute now".
Her "Why do you think I want to be hit on? That's not what I'm here for''
I know this might have been just a shit test, but she frowned at me as well while saying it. I plowed on for a few more minutes, but it didn't go anywhere.
I have noticed similar bad results with other exchanges such as:
When there is a guy around and a girl keeps staring at him (I have used this mostly on girls in the group of the girl I'm gaming):
Me: Quick, go dance with him before someone bolder than you snatches him!
Her: I'm not here to hit on guys; Why do you think I like this guy; blah-blah; sometimes gives me a mean look and proceeds to cock-block me from talking to her friend.
When using openers to all-female groups such as:
Me: You girls look like you need some male presence in your group - here, I'll invite those two guys over (pointing usually at some busted dudes nearby)
Her: I want to spend time with my girfriends tonight, not with guys.
When using a funny line that first came up from Mystery I believe, 10+ years ago:
Me: Nah, I don't think I'm the right guy for you. Now, that guy (pointing at some busted dude) - he'd be perfect for you.
Her: Why do you think I even need a guy?; Are you gay/do you like him?; {weird stare}.
What has been your experience with these types of topics? Perhaps I just need to fine-tune them a little bit, or just give up on it altogether?
Might be a regional thing, since it worked like a charm on the last American girl I remember picking up. On her, I used the classic:
Her: {After having talked for 15 minutes, dancing close, trying to grind on me}
Me: That'll be 5 bucks.
Her: ?
Me: Hey, this shit ain't free. Now, that guy (pointing to a busted dude clumsily dancing nearby) - his shit's probably free. You can go rub your body against his.
Her: {Playful slap to my chest}
