Picking a Bank / Checking / Savings Account

Sucks Ally doesn't do free international ATM withdraws.
Just opened an account with them for my savings. Guess I'll keep my Schwab account as well.

For checking accounts, here is a good list, money.cnn.com/2012/05/23/pf/high-yield-checking-accounts/index.htm
I have Lake Michigan Credit Union. They reimburse all my ATM fees and give me $25/month just for using the card. You do have to setup an automatic deposit though, which should not be a problem with most employers.
For credit cards, I have Fidelity AMEX, personal.fidelity.com/products/checking/content/amex_investment_card.shtml
It gives you 2% cash back on all purchases. Most places accept it, for everything else there is LMCU mastercard.
Schwab used to have a 2% cash back visa, but they cancelled it a few years ago. I still keep a checking (visa) account with them because they waive foreign transaction fees. This one is a biggie, if you travel a lot.

I thought this thread was going to be about Dash sharing a bank account with his mom.
