I've stated my low opinion of the alt-right, and thought I was clear about my feelings on the untrustworthiness of the alt-lite, and eventual mistrust of Cernovich due to patterns of displayed behaviour

Cernovich is basically building a cult of personality now. He has become totally inconsistent. He no longer bases anything he says or does on logical positions, but on how it will play politically with his "base". He never admits error but buries the evidence and pretends it never happened.
It's consistent Basic Bitch behaviour. Commit a empowering transgression due to a sense of personal righteousness followed by A / B testing of which excuse the audience will buy. Leap on the successful one. Delete contradictory evidence. Luckily, he's made enough enemies by now that every action he takes is now being archived for posterity, such as the NetHoax youtube account. Which is why, rumours from both the right and left claim Mike was involved in this, and Salon's take on the matter of Enoch's doxxing involves this paragraph:
Quote:Quote:
Mike Enoch’s downfall was set in motion in December when a former alt-right vlogger named Mike Cernovich hinted to his viewers that one of his rivals “is morbidly obese and is married to a Jewish woman.” He declined to say whom he meant, but that salacious rumor set the cyber-sleuths to their task.
This was back in December around the time of the Baked Alaska doxxing: Around 20:00 in this video, if the direct time link doesn't work.
... when he'd also sent these tweets to Enoch.
Note the
odd softening of Mike's presentation by Salon - 'a former alt-right blogger' - considering his former toxic media reputation.
He's claiming these are faked now -
if it's deleted it doesn't exist! - but note the slimy plausible-deniability in his actions. "It's not like I
named him!"
This is Bitch Behaviour. He knew exactly what he was doing.
Remember, around this time, fellow Alt-Liter Bill Kristol / Kristal - I can't be bothered googling him - was also doxxing another Alt-Righter and trying to get her fired from her job.
This pattern of behaviour matches what Mike did to Baked Alaska, and the accusations back during Gamergate by GamerGhazi that the doxxing of another prominent Gamergater
came directly from Mike, which I dismissed at the time due to the source, but now I wonder more about. Margaret Pless - who Mike crowed about suing into oblivion for a while until he suddenly stopped, blocking anyone who asked about the suit - wrote some interesting pieces where she stated Mike's claims of being doxxed by Pless and Quinn were false and his behaviour was 'bizarre', and 'off'.
So, as a thought experiment, let's take this further - watching how victimhood via harrassment was paying off for Quinn and Sarkeesian, (Mike has repeatedly stated he admires her for her skills as a Player), I could see how someone inserting himself into drama to try and build a personal brand for self-improvement within a (largely gullible) audience of Beta Gamers by playing into the tropes and cliches of their hobby, such as creating a Hero Trajectory via the appearance of nobility being attacked-unjustly, in which case,
it would pay quite well to dox yourself and point the finger of blame elsewhere.
As I said, it's just a thought experiment, since I prefer to examine events by running out multiple theoretical motivations for behaviour, (which is necessary when dealing with women, because nothing said can ever be taken at face value).
Back to Enoch - here's a caller calling Mike out. Note the discussion of the Tweet praising a Buzzfeed article.
Watch the video again with the sound off, and note the body language. Is that a trustworthy master of mindset, or is
something just off there? Contrast with another high-stress situation - Roosh attacking the journalists during a press conference in DC where you can see the obvious body language of
righteous indignation and a guy who is
in control of his shit.
Which man would you buy a used car from?
Mike says if he was going to going to attack you, he'd do it in front of your face, which immediately gives me Bullshit High School Drama Flashbacks, because, girls being girls and often being indistinguishable from each other in their actions, speech and behaviour,
it was an incredibly-common transgression deflection excuse used by Bitches who have been caught out for Bitchy, Backstabbing Behaviour.
I suspect the truth is more like this:
- he'd directly attack if he thought it would help expand his brand.
- he'd indirectly attack if he thought a direct attack would be detrimental to his brand.
This focus on what grants personal power is why Cernovich will pay $5,000 a month to an obvious burnout like Baked Alaska (due to the connections to Milo's power that he had at the time) rather than paying the same amount to fund a damn good journalist like Forney, (whose blunt, caustic style delivers the goods but might blowback negatively on Cernovich's brand, particularly now he's trying to position himself as Centerist).
Quoted for truth:

Maybe his strategy will continue to pay off for him but similar to the Milo situation, it's clear to me at this point that whatever Cernovich is doing is about Cernovich. I do not consider him a friend or ally and I think it would be extremely optimistic to trust him to stand for any particular cause in the long run in light of his recent history of whitewashing his online history and flip flopping on issues for solely political reasons.
I'm uninterested in a direct fight with him as we exist in very different circles - the sort of circles where his lack of loyalty would result in physical consequences - and since I'm also uninterested in exploiting the gullibility of followers for personal power, I'm hardly a direct threat to his Alt-Lite throne, particularly as I think the manosphere offers his brand little power by this stage. I just see him as an inherently-untrustworthy guy with zero loyalty to anyone but himself.
I'm just warning readers that nothing is ever as it appears - people have very complex behavioural motivations - and it's naive to assume Mike had nothing to gain from the destruction of the Alt-Right. Of course, being the times, all information is theoretically-disinformation and nothing presented through technological presentation can be trusted as truth, but I also have a deep gut instinct as to when
something stinks, particularly as I worked for years in a field where trusting appearances and apparent loyalties could easily have gotten me killed.
Like the Left, the battles of the Right all seem to be coming down to jostling for positions of power. Over the years, I've come to accept this as the predictable reality behind whatever supposedly-noble political cause is currently being fought:
you are guaranteed to end up with the exact same toxic power dynamics as what you were valiantly-fighting to end.
This is why, a few years ago on here, I mentioned this old movie I saw at the Drive-In as a kid:
Short version: A nerd crippled by a clique of high school bullies kills them all, resulting in the other nerds filling the power vacuum and becoming a new bullying clique. Thirteen years later, the overrated 'Heathers' did much the same thing with a glossier presentation, but didn't have the guts to shiv as deep.
This is why I've seen an almost entire inversion of left/right behaviour within my lifetime. The Left spent the 80's fighting the Right to stop banning art, music and video games; trying to destroy people being bullied for their political beliefs; praising liberated sexuality; demanding desegregation; and trying to destroying the dehumanising qualities of anti-Russian propaganda through songs like 'Nikita' and 'Russians', only to be doing all those things themselves now they hold societal power.
Given that the Alt-Right were largely Esoteric Gay Nazis; the Natsocs at /pol/ are so easily duped they don't realise the Esoteric Occultists tricked them into worshipping a Numerology-based Crowleyist
Satanic Reversal; and the Alt-Lite is shaping up with members like Kristol, Cernovich, Milo and Vox Day, (none of whom I find remotely-trustworthy, given their histories), I'm thinking that I have so little in common with this movement, (particularly given the
guaranteed-fucktardness of the eventual power dynamics that will result from it), that my future is largely-offline.
There seems to be some kind of
Bitch Sickness in middle and upper class men, where I need to watch them more for sneaky drama than their women.
