As is RVF tradition, what will you guys be up to this Christmas and/or holiday season? I'll be working and brushing up on my college studies on Christmas and perhaps making some filhoses.

I'm taking two weeks off to visit family and take a break from life. Being a complete piece of shit before getting my gym routine back together in January. I'll probably gain a solid 5 pounds just in the next two days.

I've only had one girl in my life for the past couple months, and she's away for the holidays, along with most of my friends. My mother and father are elderly which is part of the reason I'm back in New England, but for the most part nobody else is around right now.

It's been very peaceful and relaxing, and I'm getting a bunch of work done.

I drank too often this year, and I'm not going to use the holidays as an excuse. The unfortunate truth is I seemed to convince myself for much of this year that since I met a couple girls who ended up being "regulars" that I had this whole game thing on lock, and I could slack off. Maybe I needed a breather - I was hitting online dating hard for the better part of a year and while I got some nice bangs out of it I'll admit it was hard to keep up the enthusiasm. I haven't messed with those apps seriously in months; I think the last iDate I went on was in late September.

I'm busier now with work and family and just don't have the time for it.

I feel a bit out of shape mentally and definitely physically at the moment. I'm not unhappy with the girl I'm dating semi-monogamously at all, this is definitely a "me" thing.

I'm trying to get more physical activity by doing some early-morning jogs. It's a little warmer here than in Rocky IV, but this tune is great for the playlist:

I will be off from work for the next ten days where I will be feasting with the folks, drinking the last of my Glen Livet that, work on my hobbies that I have been neglecting, watching a few classic movies, and start back writing on a book that I have completed about a chapter worth of.

Taking the time off work and spending it with my family. Already went Christmas caroling with some friends. I don't do anything flashy for Christmas. I reject the consumerist approach to what should be a religious and civic holiday. I usually buy a few small gifts and that's it, then toast a bottle of Jameson with my brother while roasting some logs on the fire.

I volunteered to be on duty on Christmas Day so that others with their own families can be home. Then I fly home to my family afterwards for some time on leave.

After few years christmas are white, so I did some running in forests, that was awesome. Then I had dinner and spent some time with family. Now I am heading to pub to meet friends for while and wait until my girl calls me, then pick her up at her parents and spend some time together.

Tomorrow I gotta travel to my service place and spend 26 hours on duty.

A few people on a work related WhatsApp group shared pictures saying happy holidays and seasons greetings etc. I added a picture of the three wise men following the star, along with the words Merry Christmas. Two female members of the group sent me a private message saying that it wasn't appropriate to add that, as there are several Muslim members in the group. Fuck that I thought, and I then quickly Googled and added a picture of the nativity, complete with a Bible verse.

Christmas in 2016 I believe puts me in Albania spending Christmas sad and alone and wondering why I just left Kiev... shortly after Christmas though I started dating a smoking hot Albanian TV personality and that made all the sad go away.

Christmas 2018..... spending it with the Colombian and Cuban families of my Airbnb host jaja. They are super kind and welcoming though an treating me like family!

Forecast for Christmas 2019....... its gonna be lit!
