Hampton Roads

Does anyone live in the Hampton Roads, VA or Virginia Beach areas? Seems like this place is a nightmare for single men. It reeks of sausage everywhere - grocery store, bars, malls, church, you name it. I'm in desperate need of some pointers.

I spent a winter up there and wasn't impressed. Downtown VA Beach might be your best best. You might get play for being non-military. My advice though is to keep driving down I-95 until you hit Wilmington, N.C.

VA is no place for Greeks! Pick Astoria, Chicago or Tarpon Springs..Stay away from Gary IN and Campbell OH.

I went to college in Williamsburg, which is 45 min - hour from those two locations. Honestly, it may be your best bet, unless you want to drive out to Richmond. There's also Newport News and Christopher Newport Univ, but I don't know too much about it since the party scene there was dead. Pickings are slim in HR and Va beach, however there will be plenty of college girls coming back to school right now and school starts in three weeks. Where I went to school (William & Mary), the first couple of weeks is prime for "hunting" fresh, 18 yr old punani and many frat stars will come out with their sloppy frat game. The bars on campus are full of sorority girls that range from 4-7 on looks, with an occasional 8 floating by in the pack. With that said, be prepared to deal with flakiness and bitchy sorority attitudes--its difficult to isolate a chick if you're not in a frat, and you can easily get labeled as a townie if your vibe is not on point. Townies and students don't get along, most likely because the students have huge superiority complexes.

While the majority of girls are early 20s, W&M has its share of 23-26 yr olds due to there being a law school + multiple grad programs, like the school of education. If you're interested, I can break down the more popular bars and what quality you can find at each venue.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys.
I'm reluctant to go out to Williamsburg since it's about 45 mins away. Would suck to drive and not be able to drink much. I don't see much with the ODU women. Any tips on where to find them? Downtown Norfolk, maybe?
