It seems to be something like an Amazon Echo box with an anime character. This has to be the saddest thing to come out of Japan, even worse than the pay-for-hugs cafes.

It was decided on December 7, 1941 when their foolish leadership attacked a nation that would bring them to their knees with atomic bombs, annihilation of their culture, destruction of their patriarchy and male demographic, and 70+ years of imported feminism.

It is sad to me because even with all of that Japan is still the most fantastic place I've ever visited.

Tragic to see such a once-great nation stoop to such inhumanity. If Japan is to recover at all and survive as a nation, they better start actively discriminating against women in the workforce, forcing the countless women already there to consider their beta male counterparts and actually start having kids again. Japanese guys really need to up their game. In fact, it seems most Japanese guys have very little game at all. If a guru wanted to teach game in Japan to Japanese guys, that would be a great budding marketplace. Think of all the lonely Japanese men that if you taught them how to dress better, get a better haircut, workout and stop jacking off to hentai so much they could actually find a real woman. Any Japanese speaking guys here? Seems like a gold mine if you went over to Japan and started game coaching.

I fear that unless things change drastically, this is eventually going to make its way towards the United States and other Western countries. Virtual reality and virtual porn has already made its way here.

I feel sorry for the poor dudes that will be buying this shit to comfort themselves. Further up the line I imagine sex robots who are just like humans, so anyone can buy a robot version of a young Pamela Anderson as a sex toy that feels and acts just like the real thing. And so procreation in society decreases even more.
When I think about it, though, it might be a solution to the overpopulation of the world, so maybe not entirely a bad thing, ha.

As VR porn comes to the West, I think you'll see more of a bifurcation between masculine men who are actually reproducing and omega males who refuse to reproduce. Men will continue to get softer in the mean time, with few exceptions. The strong will inherit the future.

I had a shit ton of pages printed out from Skotch's thread on Japan before I landed in Tokyo for the first time, which directly led to flags. When I say "nobody" I'm talking about local guys with no game, not foreigners and RVF members.

Tokyo (CNN)Japanese millennials just aren't having sex.

That's according to a government survey published last week, claiming that 42% of men and 44.2% of women -- almost half of Japan's millennial singles aged between 18 to 34 -- are virgins.

I can understand a dude buying a VR game / sex doll / playboy magasine to fap.
I can't understand a dude buying an AI on TV, which can only talk.

When did japanese men become so effeminate, that they crave attention like if they were women?

Combined with aspects of the GTA franchise this has great potential.

Which button do you press for "get drunk and slap her around"?

If this is a real product it wouldn't be purchased, it would be on the subscription model. It would also wake you up three times in the middle of the night to urinate, change the thermostat and ask increasingly passive-aggressive questions on a 28 day cycle. About 10 months into renting this model, it would start getting paunchy and you may or may not meet a second "girlfriend" at the bar. After updating the software to keep her looks trim, the unit manufactures a pregnancy scare. You later find out that this scare is entirely your fault because you refused to buy it a puppy. You to lose your goddamned mind for at least one week.

Your boss notices that you are unhappy and asks you why. After explaining things, he encourages you to "make an honest woman out of it." Much deliberation and rum later, you pop the question. You get hitched and the honeymoon is great. Life goes on. You think everything is going well, but the software starts glitching. Sometimes you will ask the unit a question and it doesn't respond. Sometimes the unit will remember a conversation that didn't happen or start discussing an event that occurred many years prior to the current version. Eventually, the bugs and glitches annoy you enough to bring the unit in for repairs.

After bringing the unit into the repair shop, you find out that the newer models are much sleeker and less demanding. Despite this, the company contract prevents you from getting a newer model because you still have time left on this model. Switching early would trigger an acceleration clause costing a large sum, mostly paid to lawyers. You suck things up and pay for the unit to be repaired. You get a bill while the unit is shipped off to Jamaica for a week with other units for recuperation.

After your unit comes back from Jamaica, things are worse. Eventually, the unit tells you that it wants out of the contract and has already contacted the company. After some negotiation, which you don't understand, the unit is taken from your apartment and 60% of your possessions are sold at auction. When you protest, it is pointed out that the contract had a "no-fault termination clause" which was triggered when she met somebody else. The company is owed a recurring 35% of your income for the next twenty years.

It's a really good business model, actually. I'm surprised that nobody else has thought of it.

Japan Times good enough for you? They surveyed 30-something men and came up with 25%.
