I didn't think Bill Nye would get blown out, but he did. His last line is funny as hell.

I thought Tucker should have let Bill talk and explain his points. Looked more like her kept cutting in as Bill was trying to speak and explain his points most of the time.

Disagree 100%

There's a video of Tucker Carlson interviewing a New York government official about a specific law. Before the interview started, he was definitely against the law. But he asked the official a question, and she responded quickly and logically. He asked her a "gotcha" question, too which she responded vehemently, quickly, and without a single tangent. He converted to being in favor of the law, based on her answers.

That's Tucker's formula - (1) Ask an honest question, straight. (2) If he gets an honest answer, he'll play ONE "Gotcha" card. Answer the "Gotcha" honestly, and he'll be honest throughout the interview. But if you answer dishonestly, he'll expand his questioning techniques with name-calling, interruptions, triggering laughs, and accusations of weakness.

If you re-watch the Bill Nye interview, focus on Tucker's first question, which was brilliant. Then track Bill's reply, which was completely off-topic. Bill's off-topic reply invited Tucker's shitloading.

I get that it is suppose to be TV entertainment. Maybe I was hoping for too much.

He exposes it as an argument that is not even restorationist in its nature, which is precisely what it wants to be but can't be. It's the same argument mormonism and islam use, except those two idiotic belief systems are protected and climate change isn't, here is why:

All 3 say what came before us was corrupted. Our guy has the understanding of what it was "supposed to be". For those two religions, if you argue on that basis, you can't argue with them, because by definition that belief is based on everyone else is a liar and corrupter, so there can be no reasoning with such a person. So they have to be dealt with on different terms.

The funny thing about climate change is that there is only 1 planet Earth and 1 atmosphere. It's not like you can point to other even similar systems and at least show something remarkably similar. So experiments are extrapolated in a test tube, at best, and relatively compared to the single largest entity a human could even imagine, let alone test, billions of inputs in the atmosphere working out to the universe. What's more?

Historically the world was cooler from 1945-1970, that is post industrial, in line with increasing greenhouse gases, etc. But doesn't fit. So what do they say? "We must have stopped aerosol or something else for that time" another thing they invent to backfit, but can't possibly prove either.

Unlike the religions, it's a case where the backfitting actually always proves them more wrong, because they are locked into a warming forever mindset, and those are the only examples of anything "different" than expected. Thus, the quick change to vocab like "climate change" in order to counteract natural variation; something they finally saw did and would happen moving forward (or at least statistical variation) --- which betrays their original thesis, coming full circle.

Just finished Tucker's book Politicians, Paritsans and Parasites: My Adventures in Cable News

Was a quick read. He is mostly just talking about his TV career, a collection of anecdotes. There's some amusing parts, and it's interesting to hear his insider's perspective on name brand TV talking heads, kooky politicians and on-air guests, etc.

I was a little disappointed because I was hoping he'd address the MSM institution as a whole, and talk specifically about how events are spun a certain way to facilitate the prevailing politically motivated narrative, top-down orders on what kind of things to talk about and such.

When I requested it from my library loan system I overlooked the fact that it was written in 2003. I hope he puts out another book in the near future.

You can look at other planets in the solar system and if their climates are also warmer, then it indicates that the warming may be due primarily to solar variation, not human causes. From what I understand, there are some indications that Mars' climate may have also warmed recently.

Obviously I'm not a scientist, but given what I know, I personally think the jury is still out on whether or not humans are actually impacting climate change, to what extent, etc... and even if so... historically the world HAS been a whole lot hotter. It's not the end of the world... yet. Those pesky climate alarmists.

Fucking hell, everything converges.

Unconnected things I am interested keep seeming to come to the same conclusions.

James Howard Kunstler (Peak oil guy) on Tucker Carlson.

And Carlson's a Kunstler fan.

Made my whole day.

I used to think Tucker was a bit of a douche. He had that stupid ass bow tie.

But he really impresses me now. You can tell the guy has matured and has a wisdom he didn't have when he was younger.

I never used to watch the guy. I watch him all the time now. Big fan.

Old one from January with Tulsi on Syria, more of Tucker getting things right:

Tucker is against the agenda of his employers, but I think they keep him there as a kind of release for conservative viewers. Most of their other people are whores like Shepherd Smith who stick with the script.

The script being, for example, that the terrorist jihadis in Syria are freedom fighters and Russia is evil. This script derives from the fact that Rupert Murdoch literally owns a nice part of Syrian pie, as partner with the Rothschilds in Syrian/Kurdish oil.

Tax Day: Socialist Prof Want 80% Tax Rate - Tucker Carlson

Tucker lays waste to this leftist dingbat Socialist professor. Pretty much sums up the left, do as I say, not as I do.

I like how this video is mislabelled. Tucker Carlson scores a lot of points against Cuban, who is very weaselly, and the person who uploaded it, labelled it:

Quote:Quote:

Mark Cuban Can't Stop Laughing At Fox' Tucker Carlson Talking About Trump

This is why everyone is still so triggered about Trump. Now that people are watching videos and deciding for themselves, misleading labels have no power. And that is all the left has.

And, if that professor in the video above this one looks as good in real life as she does on tv, wb.

They can't help but contradict themselves. First she says she wants the rich to give all their money to the government, and when Carlson asks why she doesn't give all her money to the government, she says she gives it directly to charities because she doesn't trust how Trump is running things.

Damn shame, Tucker let a Trap Nigga off easy. Straight up chuckles at and dodges valid points. Should've went in on Bruce like he does with his other guests. Sad!

Right. Apparently the physical composition of the person has nothing to do with things during an Olympic event?????

Tucker is doing yeoman's work. Here he is being nagged, lectured, shamed, by someone who is illegally in the country.

This guy acts like he is finally confronting the father who left him when he was young. Like he and Carlson have a personal relationship.

The SJW-talk in this segment is stellar.

A good argument could be made that Carlson is giving this dude free therapy:
