The Tucker Carlson thread

Tucker went easy on him; you could see the pity in his eyes. To be honest, he didn't need to go any harder; Glenn Beck was a sad grovelling sack.

The counter argument is that we shouldn't let our guard down on snakes like him, they must be ruined (I hope he has Ben Shapiro on and ruins him). However, keeping these guys at arm's length allows you to control them somewhat.

That moron Fortune writer kept justifying or trying to justify why "it's important" to release ANY intel on somebody because it's their duty to do so and Tucker rightfully exclaimed " you have low standards".

The writer was outclassed by Tucker by a longshot.

Megyn Who? Tucker Carlson Slaughters the Competition in Primetime Debut

http://www.aim.org/don-irvine-blog/megyn...ign=buffer

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson got off to a roaring start in his primetime debut Monday night by easily outdistancing both MSNBC and CNN, proving at least for now that the decision to slide him into Megyn Kelly’s old timeslot was an excellent one.
Carlson averaged 493,000 viewers in the key 25-54 demo, beating out CNN’s town hall special with Bernie Sanders (414,000) and The Rachel Maddow Show (324,000).
Overall, Tucker Carlson Tonight averaged 2.699 million total viewers, nearly beating the combined total of MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show (1.369 million) and CNN’s town hall special (1.357 million).
Compared to Kelly’s numbers on the same day last year, Carlson was up 27 percent in total viewers and a whopping 45 percent in the key 25-54 demographic, showing that Fox News may not wind up missing Kelly as much as everyone thought.

If one was a sadist, one could invest the time to watch Megyn's career slowly flounder over the coming years.
Personally though, I've got better matters to attend to.

Carlson is a like representation of blue submissive man who found the path to the red pill dominant way.

He used to be the stereotypical conservative bow tie guy, Jon Stewart made fun of him back in the day on CNN.

Now he is more aggressive, not Alex Jones type, but way different from what he used to be.

His show has popularity because he is bringing the lefty people in and challenging, they are not used to that.

Yeah no fucking kidding. He used to be the cuckiest of cucks with his bowtie and soft demeanor. This new edginess he's showing is amazing to me given how he used to be. It's a complete 180. The cynic in me wonders if he's doing it because he's recognized an unfilled niche or if his transformation is for real. I think its probably for real and if so, is really representative of a lot of dudes who've realized how messed up everything is right now and have made a similar transformation.

I hope Tucker Carlson is classier than to have slide into that short-haired used-up slot.

I think the transformation is real. Look at how much fun he's having destroying these fools that come on his show. That's the shitlord smile of a man who has discovered how much fun Amused Mastery can be on a political level. Tucker is player who matured late in the game.

This man Tucks.

This isn't the Tucker Carlson I remember getting consistently owned by liberals over on CNN...what changed about him? Now he's owning people left and right that he brings on the show.

The more I've thought about it, the more I think this is all about Jon Stewart.

I think following Jon Stewart going on Crossfire in 2004 and creating that buzz that arguably led to the downfall of that show, Tucker had to have realized that this is what plays. I mean, Stewart did that just a short time before YouTube was launched, but right around the time that videos getting passed around from other sources was creating the need that YouTube eventually filled. It was a relatively viral video if i recall correctly, and Stewart showed the footage on the Daily Show and it was this moment during the Bush administration where a lot of the "Daily Show liberals" got to feel this sense of victory and validation. These same Daily Show liberals gave way to the modern day leftist in a lot of ways - "Occupy Wall Street" types.

Meanwhile, I think Tucker Carlson was playing the long game. The dude knows the issues, has strong beliefs, and is a trained journalist - I'm sure he wasn't real happy that he was allowed to get clowned (at least in the court of public opinion) by a comedian who should have been out of his depth. What I think we have now is a new Tucker Carlson who is giving liberals exactly what hosts like Jon Stewart have been giving conservatives for years. He doesn't care about playing fair - he pulls out articles written in Teen Vogue to discredit that one broad's credibility in political issues, he calls out tweets made knowing full well he's just putting people on the back foot and causing them to lose their cool while he does that open-mouthed stare that makes a neutral viewer sense he's in control via his pure (and sometimes punched-up) incredulousness. He owns people and he is picking targets who he knows he will own, just as the Daily Show did for all 15 years of Jon Stewart's tenure.

Of course, his timing is perfect - Trump showed conservatives that they can go on the offensive and win. More to the point, that they lose by staying on the defensive. Carlson is just applying that high energy to his interviews. The more this keeps working for Tucker, the more I'm confident in saying he might actually be this administration's Jon Stewart - only he's collecting liberal scalps. And Trump isn't even in office yet.

He is way better than Jon Stewart for the simple fact Carlson takes opposing views right live, the format for Jon Stewart is to send people to interview people on the right for hours, edit it in such way to only show 10 seconds on TV and make them look stupid. Is very easy to win arguments when you can just edit what the other person says.

And Jon Stewart likes to hide under his "I am just a comedian" when attacked, and then accuse the right of not having sense of humor. Is not coincidence Jon Stewart never had people on his show in front of him who will challenge him.

Liberals loves Jon Stewart because he makes them feel smart, they feel they win argument by watching him.

Carlson is showing the left they are not as smart as they think, they are not immune to question anymore, and after the election thanks to Trump there is a need for someone on a news network to call liberal BS, people on the right really love winning, and they have not been winning for a long time, people at Trump rallies and his supporters in general are part of the American right that think to themselves "wow, not playing nice waiting for them to like us is a mistake,".

There's a quote at the bottom of Vox Day's page that I think is applicable here: "Success comes most swiftly and completely not to the greatest or perhaps even the ablest men, but to those whose gifts are most completely in harmony with the taste of their times."

That's exactly what's going on with Tucker. The right in the US, even the cuckservatives, are hungry for someone who'll take the fight to the leftists. That's why a loser fag like Ben Shapiro gets the attention he does, because he fights, even if when he's not fighting he's a whiny little bitch. Tucker has an amazing skill destroying and humiliating his opponents while retaining the intellectual and moral high ground at a time when half the country is begging for someone who'll do just that.

5 years ago Tucker could've been doing the same thing he's doing now and he wouldn't have been nearly as successful. But now that his skills are in harmony with what his viewers want, he has an amazing career ahead of him.

Lets not forget that Tucker is a Conservative Heterosexual Handsome White Male with an attractive baby face. His very visage is triggering to leftists. They represent all that is ugly and false. His existence is a rejection of who they are, and what they stand for.

I don't know which is better: that Tucker never became unhinged while asking pertinent questions that exposed (and then played along with) the hoax OR that the guest never broke character and never explained the motive for the hoax.

Not explaining the hoax lets everyone determine the motive for themselves, which is much more interesting.

Quick summary of the video that Cr33pin posted.

Enrique Morones, "The United States doesn't have a right to enforce the border between itself and Mexico, because most Central Americans are leaving their countries due to negative American interventions - and because the American people consume more drugs than any other country."

Tucker, "Holy shit. Did you just mother-fuckin' say that bad American foreign policy and American drug use is driving your open borders immigration policy?"

Enrique, "OF COURSE I DIDN'T MOTHER-FUCKIN SAY THAT!"

(three minutes later), Enrique says that same exact shit again.

Typical evading the questions and throwing as much against the spaghetti against the wall (heh) as he can to see what sticks.

I liked it when he accused Trump of keeping people out of the country based on their religion.

I guess he was talking about all those Mexican Muslims Trump is oppressing.
