Downloading Songs?

Lost all my music and need to start downloading all my songs.

I know there is LimeWire Pirate Edition but I searched for my fav latin artist and the results just sucked ass.

So my question is what network / method is the best for downloading songs now?

Torrents. Just type in ex. "metallica - greatest hits download" in google also. I'm you'll find links for the cd and blogs that way

yea but alot of songs are remix's and are not in cd's.

thats the disadvantage of torrents imo. mostly albums ect.

I've always used Ares since I can remember, its fast and its light weight, and its not annoying like Limewire.

I always want full albums, so I use mediafire/megaupload. I downloaded WinRAR to open .zip files, and just google "album + mediafire" I want and usually am able to find it. Worked beautifully so far. I d/l a lot of old metal/prog rock cds, so they may be easier to find.

What DTA said. I know a few blogs but they're all rap. I wouldn't mind finding some for classic rock, punk, rock, etc.

Check it out: http://aresgalaxy.sourceforge.net/

I also download full albums or full discographies at http://www.bunalti.com but I doubt you will find the music you want there [Image: tongue.gif] worth giving it a shot though

Soulseek. Just google search, it should be the first one that comes up. I generally download full length albums through there.

DTA covered it. Nowadays you can type in the artist and song you want and add mediafire to the end to get your track.

EX: Prince Royce ft Daddy Yankee - Ven conmigo mediafire

Dilandau is great when accessed from a mobile device (such as a blackberry). There's no adds whatsoever.

However last time I checked that site from my computer it was infested with annoying adds that included stupid webcam chats and porn.

seems like limewire is still the best/easiest software for downloading songs ect.

only prob ive encountered is some songs are not on there and/or are some pre recorded copywrite infringement shit.

im sure main all main stream american artists stuff is on there but most of the stuff i like is latin

keepvid . com
savevid .com

Those sites allow you to download directly off of youtube. But you have to convert the files from mp4 to wav. Depends on if the artist has embedding enabled or disabled.

In addition, i've used: BitTorrent + torrentdownloads . net
works very well for finding just about anything you need.
