Why wouldn't the top floors list and slide off or slowly come apart?

After thinking it over, I do agree that this man is using likely truths to create a believable narrative that will end up being true, but which he probably has no connection to. Because if he really was involved in such a plot, it would be silly to reveal it BEFORE the election.
