Kinkiness and intelligence ?

Do you believe there is a link between intelligence and kinkiness.
I noticed that the smartest women tend also to be the kinkiest.
I don't know the reason why but it's just something i've seen in my experience with the opposite sex.
What do you think about it ?

Most terms here are undefined
But by and large this doesn't correlate.
She may be unaware of options
She may not realize that her normal behavior is kink
She may be hiding it from you
She might not be turned on enough to let loose
She may be afraid to act on her naughty thoughts
None of those things correlate well to intelligence, culture, race, age, religion...
In my experience, a chick is rarely into kink from birth, or on her own, but she gets exposed to it via the men that lead her to bed. Sometimes it'll be something that she read, or that her girlfriend told her. But a lot of these chicks just mirror the guy that she's with.
Now after she bangs Mr. Bondage, she tries to hint at kink with Mr. Boring, only to get shot down.
She'll continue to have sex, but whether she explores is entirely on the guy she's with.
And given how girls will change costumes then change personalities, I've found it useful to keep changing things up. She will tire of p into v, but add a mental component...

When I was a chump I had a hard time getting my girls into my kinks. Then I discovered the manosphere and became a masculine man, what do you think that happened? Every, fuckin, thing, I tried with new girls they just went along with it.
I don't think these new girls were kinkier, I believe that it is just their horniness levels. If you are a beta chump they will have sex with you to get your resources or to just have a bf, whatever, so they will not be horny enough to do crazy shit like call you daddy whilst begging for you to choke them. Now, when they perceive you as a real man, they get so horny they just can't control their sexuality.
You have to be an open guy with their kinks, though. If they feel you are going to judge them they won't open their full sexuality to you. As WestIndianArchie says, they will hint their kinks to some guys, but they will judge them.

As usual, WIA hit it spot on.
Men have fetishes based on something that happened to them, or just some twist of fate. It's far more concrete. If you're in to bondage or like dominatrix or foot fetish, that's what will get you off. If you're in to some other weird thing, that's what gets you off.
Women's sexuality and turn-ons are far more fluid.
Again, generally speaking.
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”

My last semi-serious relationship was with an intelligent EE girl who was also ‘feminist’ although obviously didn’t look like one.. She was into anything I wanted her to be and loved anal, choking, face fucking etc. Despite being ‘feminist’ she loved being mildly degraded and being told what to do.
In answer to the original question I don’t think intelligence makes a difference in the level of kinkiness, it's more about knowing how to make any girl so horny she will do whatever you want. If you generally have a better connection with smarter girls, and can therefore push their right buttons - that’s probably why you have seen a link.

Are you referencing that story that was recently published in a gossip rag?
Wouldn't sweat it. A lot of the time rags like these take tangentially related stories and give it a misleading headline. You know why they do it? For the same reason that women love the bullshit line that people who swear more often are smart.
It lets the hamster ramp up into overdrive: their own sluttiness is now no longer a negative, if it's proof that they're smarter than non-sluts. This of course is good for clicks and ad revenue.

I don't think they are related. Usually dumber women are kinky in my experience.
However an intelligent kiny women would do it with more imagination and skill :-)

Highly highly correlated in my few years being active in bdsm community. Did somewhat unspeakable things to a woman with a PhD this weekend. Probably the 2 smartest girls I know - just college degrees - are/were very into bondage, choking, impact play, totally submissive to me.
Hate to disagree with WIA, but most girls get it from books and videos first. Bisexual girls almost never found out about it from a kinky guy first. I would say today's younger girls are getting it from tumblr and porn. Tumblr alone has some seriously dirty bdsm stuff on there. And of course fetlife is free.

E.g. 'The two smartest girls I know - college degree'. So, I pre-answered your comeback but you felt the need to go ahead anyway.
I don't spend even 5 minutes with anyone who is remotely 'thick' on any level. I'm in my 40s, ain't nobody got time for that.

I don't see a relationship between the two. If anything the reverse has been true in my experience.

There's a fairly strong correlation in my opinion.

There's no correlation from experience. It primarily comes down to your skill at insinuation and putting dirty thoughts in her head. You just approach kink from a different angle, and it definitely helps to use the medium/channel that appeals to a woman.
Like women who read a fair amount it's easier to insert fantasies and kink through books and works, especially literary erotica. I find it amusing to discuss their fantasies and get them to write out their fantasies before fleshing it out.

Personally I haven't seen any correlation to the extent that I could link those two things

I can't speak to the correlation, I've heard it claimed, but from my experience the girls I've "known" who were into kink came from across the spectrum - both professors and hairstylists.
I think women have a little kink in all of them, to a greater or lesser degree. If only smart women were into kink, why did "50 Shades of Grey" sell a hundred billion copies? My professor plate could certainly never tolerate reading it for more than a couple laughs.
My instinct is that it's more related to what frame you bring into the relationship - if she's the type who likes to please the men she's with, and she's open to it, and you're the type of player that won't "slut shame" her for it, then it's game on.
I was on Fetlife for about five minutes quite a while ago. Thinking back on it I laugh at how there are these late 30-something broads trying to use their "kinkiness" and "open-mindedness" as some form of selling point. But it's likely way easier for an "open-minded" player to train some 25 y/o grad student to enjoy being tied up, than put up with some over-the-hill BDSM lifestyle chick's shitty attitude (and a lot more fun, too.)

I've banged teachers, nurses, grad students, girls with BAs and MAs, engineers, and a girl going through med school.
I've also had hairdressers, maids, uncouth military women, a couple strippers, and receptionists.
Their sexual tastes varied, of course, but I wouldn't say the ones who were brainier were the most kinky. Most women, in my experience, love to push the envelope at least a little bit-- they don't want ten minutes of in and out, the end-- but most aren't uninhibited and ready for anything. i.e. Most love you to ram them hard from behind but it's a slightly lesser number that will get excited at getting their ass slapped a little bit and their hair lightly pulled or even being handcuffed. And it's a lesser number beyond that who want you to really pull their hair hard and for you to finger their ass and make them taste it off your fingers then call them a slut while you work them.
Some of the dumber ones loved porn and were open to real dirty stuff and some of the smartest ones loved porn and were open to real dirty stuff. And some of both weren't into that at all.
The only one real demographic that I know of that can be reliably counted on to be very sexually open is girls who are very into fitness. The vast majority of fitness chicks I've met are bi/bi-curious, love kink, love anal, love to be dominated, and get excited by anything that pushes their boundaries.

I wonder how many guys in here have banged a girl, say, 2 std dev above the normal scale for intelligence. 3 sd would be even less likely, of course. Someone with a STEM PhD, a real astrophysicist or neurosurgeon, things like that.

^ Marilyn vos Savant wasn't that bad, never saw her body though.
Women in medicine are average intelligence, but the job is more about time, repetition and drone-like following to become expert. Like in other things, they tend not be be creative or inventive. Nothing wrong with that, just how it is.
2 STD above normal intelligence for ... women?
