She was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and released from jail on Thursday morning on a $2,000 (£1,600) bail bond, police said.

One constant I've noticed about all the young women whom I've had the misfortune to ride in a car with over the past year: they're just atrocious drivers in general.

Even when they're not distracted like this, they all tailgate like gangbusters; day or night fair weather or foul she's gotta be six inches off the ass of the car in front of her.

"Why are you so fucking close to that car?" I might ask.

"Oh, it's just the way I drive."

And then zero effort whatsoever to change the behavior. They all drive shitboxes anyway so couldn't care less.

Meanwhile back in September a lady rear-ended my ~40k whip and totaled it out. She likely had a new 15 year old minivan to dink around in the very next day, while it took me until just last week to finish fighting with insurance companies and negotiating with car dealerships to find a replacement.

Penalties for shitty driving in the US are geared to the lowest common denominator and so there are a lot of shitty drivers of both genders on the road - this is one socialist notion I can get behind. What's a $100 fine for txt n drive when Mom and Dad make 140k a year?

In Germany fines scale with income. Oh, driving Dad's car and he's in a top income bracket? Okay, your fine is seven thousand euros. Does that wake you up?

Some dumb broad smashed up my mint condition 2003 Saab a few months ago while it was parked in my apartment's garage. She hit the car so god damn hard it pushed it laterally six feet, into another car, and then both cars another two feet. Both wheel wells were destroyed and an axle rod snapped... rending the vehicle totalled. She parked on my left side, and to her left was a wall. It really pissed me the fuck off because it was a great car I kept in perfect condition and did my own work on it... not to mention her cunty "what it was just an accident" attitude. The Saudis got one thing right about not letting their lizards drive.
