Alright So two different scenarios I need help with. First of all the friend cock block. I have this friend, we've been friends for like 10 years and in that time he has never had a girlfriend. Well let me be more specific, he has only been with two girls and only once with each. I've been single for a while and quite into gaming girls and I figured what the harm in taking him along, he needs to get some game. So I started training him to be my wingman and it bombed horribly, so I bought him a copy of bang hoping he would learn something and we can start working on it for him.

The only problem is he read it, I think half assed, and now he thinks he's a big time player. Tell your friend raw and straight up like a man. You can start out cool, but be very firm that you don't feel your styles are compatible and are choosing to walk your own path. Faking a friendship is a disservice to you both.

It's hard to go out with these type of guys. While it's honorable to be loyal to a friend you've known for years, if he's fucking up your game then straight up don't go out with him. I've had this experience when I was younger, I started to find my stride in college and thereafter, and I still have friends from those days where I was game less. While they are good guys, they are not the type of people I'd go out with because they would just ruin my chances. You guys can still be friends, but I'd find other people to go out with.

He's a good friend, and sometimes friendship means we have to tolerate certain foibles. But on this one tell him that you need to isolate this chick, so he should do his own thing for a bit while you lock her down. A friend should be able to understand and process that without hurt feelings.

I haven't posted in this tread in a while, but things worked out with my friend. He ended up getting a job where he can't go out as much so I don't see him as often.

However, I have befriended a guy in a club after seeing him out for several months and realized we were on the same page with finding girls. For the most part he has been an excellent wing man, and has resulted in several bangs. I have been hanging with him for the last couple of months but I am running into a different problem with him.

Lately it seems like every time I turn my back he tries to swoop my girls by making up lies about me. For example I went home last night with a headache and some stomach problems and he started working on this girl I've been talking to for a week now and told her that I left with another girl. Granted I've already banged her a couple times, but it's the principle of the thing. There are certain lines you don't cross with a wing. When she said she didn't believe him, he got over top angry at her and tried to take her home.

This is now the third time this has happened with this guy. I live in a small town and there are not a lot of clubs and bars so I see him out almost every night I go out.

Has anyone else encountered this and how has it been dealt with? Is this something that is common with male wing men?
