Man Sues Pittsburgh For False Arrest Over "Assault" Of Pregnant Woman

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A man who was falsely arrested for assaulting a pregnant woman is now suing the City of Pittsburgh.

Last November, charges of aggravated assault, robbery, indecent assault and aggravated assault of an unborn child were all dropped against Rex Coughenour.

He was facing the rest of his life in prison.

Coughenour was grabbed by police on the South Side while walking home last year. He was wrongfully accused of attacking a pregnant woman.

Surveillance video proved he did not do it.

Before that happened, he had already spent two months in the Allegheny County Jail.

Them police budget cuts certainly kicking in. Mind you, I have no doubt parts of the Pittsburgh PD did not do their jobs. CCTV is the first thing you should be scouring.

We'll see what he gets in compensation (if he gets anything). The problem for the "stopping violence against women" brigades, however, is that if you encourage so much pre-trial shaming of suspects, those who are innocent have a better chance of taking the authorities to the cleaners.

Funny how a man can face a lifetime in prison for attacking an unborn child, yet a woman can legally abort this unborn child and even use taxpayer money to fund that killing.

The United States does not fund abortions and certainly does not use tax payer funds on them.

Not sarcasm. Some private plans cover abortion, but no federally subsidized insurance (Obamacare)will pay for abortions. This has been the case since the early 1980's when the Hyde Amendment was passed-the only exceptions are rape ,incest, or if the life of the mother is threatened.

Roosh was definitely onto something when he discussed about the importance of video evidence at his World Tour speech.

Roosh might need to distribute some of those Body Camera clothing for guys, use some of those Romanian seamstresses to make Roosh Shirts and Hats with hidden cameras which will hopefully be better quality than the ones being sold on Ebay from China.

It is no longer safe for men to walk on the streets without being falsely accused by SJW these days, so a camera on a man's body will help reduce false accusations.

If the police can wear body cams, then so should other people
