With that being said for most western men the Philippines is probably still the best bet in SEA. In the long run you want cultural compatibility. Maybe Indonesian women are alright too but the reasonably nice looking girls there tend to be mega sluts so it will be a task to filter out the bad from the good.

Thailand on the other hand is not really culturally compatible with most people..even other asian ethnicities. I will say this again and again but LTR in Thailand has very low probability of working out in the long run. I've seen way too many LTR blowouts from a broad demographic of men as confirmation of that. Thailand is also the place where you get all sorts of horror stories at the 5 and 10 year LTR mark. There's so much wrong with this poll and the comments.

1. Why is Eastern Europe listed as a country?
2. Why are some people saying the Phils is good and Colombia is bad because they're slutty in Colombia? Isn't the Phils where you can bang 3 a day if you have the energy?
3. Nobody who voted speaks all the languages in the countries and/or has spent sufficient time in each to evaluate them thoroughly.
4. Guys who are traveling to get laid and don't speak the language are not meeting the best girls in each country; instead, they're all fucking the same tinder and club sluts.
5. Guys are mostly visiting one or two large cities and not seeing what the whole country has to offer.
6. Guys who are searching for sex are going to find sex and those looking for LTR material are going to find LTR material.

Finding the complete package of beauty, fidelity, intelligence, femininity, and innocence in any country is going to be difficult. The keys are to have enough experience to judge girls accurately and then go through a bunch of them until you find the right one.

With that said, the correct country is different for everyone. You have to be attracted to the women and have high enough value to be able to date lots of them. Once you get to that point it will not be difficult to find what you're looking for.

^ Obviously more guys have been to PI than Colombia on this board I am guessing by a factor of 2-3x more, that is a large factor.

From what it sounds like at the very least PI girls aren't bright enough to play head games like Colombian girls are who in my opinion are very good at having ulterior motives they hide under charms.

They both make it on the list in the top 10-15 places to find an LTR though so I mean it is really fighting over peanuts.

I still rather find an LTR in Colombia than any Anglo country any day of the week.

If someone forced me to find an LTR in Colombia or the PI I would have my guard up much much higher than a place like Vietnam or Mexico though that's for sure.

Why is E Europe grouped together in a poll about countries?
Simple answer: Not enough options in poll designed by this site! Create this poll and see how they allow you maximum 10 options. Where do you put the Poland, Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia, Peru, Philippines, India, Russia, Colombia, Peru, DR, Argentina, Cuba, Ecuador, Japan, Taiwan, S Korea, Indonesia, Mexico, Ethiopia, Vietnam, China, Brazil........... when only 10 spots are given? I would have much rather put each country by itself, but kinda sucks when you got tons of countries and only 10 spots to work with!. Kinda need to improvise!

While I found your comment about E Europe rather lacking thought, I liked how you stated the rest, particularly points 4,5.
You talked about how most travelers skip areas outside the main target cities, (leaving more than 50% of the region mostly untouched), but even in the cities they do go to, their poor local language skills limit them there too. I will capitalize on this when I get over there.

When I get to latam, I will have a strong focus on speaking their language and going to all these places that foreigners don't go to. I would say close to 3 quarters of users on latam cupid, living in latam are in cities that foreigners don't spend time in very much. And of the 25% that are in cities they visit often, a large portion are separated from the crowds by a language barrier that I don't have. Having time on my hands and the language under my belt gives me strong confidence on starting there soon and competing against the other foreigners, something which seems will not be much of a competition anyways.

btw, about Philippines, it is still only a distance 4th placer. The people that say it is for good wife material probably look at the rural places. They are very different. Conservative Philippines vs liberated look quite difference and is easily separated by urban vs rural. Go to small towns in western visayas or nortwesterern Mindanao or far southern Luzon or the ewst half of Davao etc and see the conservative women. The conservative women can be easily identified and make wife material while the liberated ones dont. I think the ones from Manila are very unpopular with love seekers.
