Hello everyone. i have decided to join this forum because,unlike other PUA sites and forums, this one seems to have a sense of fun behind it. i must ask, i am 39 and i feel that is too old to go out and try daygame etc. any thoughts on this? i should point out that i am very funny and cheeky and feel i would do very well,but my age is making me stall. cheers.

Old is how you look and feel. And it depends who you are day gaming. If you are day gaming 45 year olds, then 39 is too young..

Avoid any sort of bootcamp until you're decent. Find guys to learn with and learn from experienced players.

As for Bootcamps, If you are a multi millionaire and you want to take them go right ahead. I know Roosh does day game workshops occasionally in DC but hes in Poland right now.

If you are near London you should probably check out Ozzie's RSD bootcamp if you have the money. Not sucking his dick but the principles he uses work and lead to rapid improvement so taking a bootcamp with him is better than taking it with clown like Sasha(Idk about Yad, I heard he's pretty decent).

But you don't need a bootcamp to get good. So don't bother with one unless you have a lot of spare cash floating around.

Thank you for the supportive replies,guys. Tenderman, your reply was a tonic. i think "society" has much to blame for this idea that you are old in your 30's [the UK seems to push this agist idea]. I got laughed at my a man in his 80's the other day when i said "well, i'm knocking on now, i'm 39".

So, i intend to go for this and i must also add that that my age range will be teens to 60. Maybe you can buy MY bang book a couple of years from now!

Russ - BANG has a little bit of everything in it. Roosh has a new book coming out soon that will focus on strictly day game though. Daygame camps and all that PUA shit just seems...lame. All those stupid terms and shit. I would just work out, make sure you're dressed decent and get out there as much as possible to talk to girls and see what works for you. You arent too old! The key is to be consistent with your looks. One of my wingmen just turned 50 and he still gets pretty good traction with girls that are in their 20's.
The most interesting pattern I noticed is that he gets better results when he dresses up in a more upscale way (white shirt, suit, nice shoes), and it is not because better dressed is more beneficial per se, but because those type of clothes are more congruent to his age/looks. When instead he tries to "look young" and dresses like a guy in his 20-30's, with t-shirts and jeans, it tends to backfire on him - suddenly he appears as that older guy that tries hard to appear younger than what he is. In other words, as someone not comfortable with his own identity. Just calibrate carefully and you are good to go, 39 isnt too old AT ALL!

Great observation. Thats interesting. I've recently been updating my wardrobe to better fit my age and attitude. I was still dressing like a college kid. When I dress a little sharper, I usually get a better reaction. Clothes matter. Alot of times I dress down because I like more working class girls.

Are you talking to working class girls everyday? Or at least on the weekends?

If not, you gotta find situations to mingle with them. The more personal the better.

Hello, this is my first post.
I believe that I'm also in a similar situation. I will be 43 in 3 months and I feel that I've reached the end of the line. I did discover the pick up scene quite a while back, I took a bootcamp about 5 1/2 years ago as well as buying loads of products etc, but I never found the confidence or belief in either myself or the products to actually go out and try to approach women.
However, during my adult life I have been lucky on a few occasions with the odd short-term fling and 1-2 night stands. But the last time I even so much as kissed a girl was over 3 years ago and right now I am at the lowest ever point of my life, hope wise, when it comes to my chances with women.
Maybe it's because I found the scene/community too late in life and I was too hard-wired, I'm not sure, but the light at the end of the tunnel has certainly faded.
I'm not saying that I believe it's not possible for guys in their late 30's/40's to be good with women - and even perhaps attract nice women considerably younger than themselve's, but I do believe that you would have to have a fairly decent amount of positive past experience to be able to pull it off. If you're like me and are lacking the necessary confidence and self esteem through having the identity of someone who can't get girls, then I'm sure being this age can be a massive disadvantage.
This is just my own experience though, I'm not trying to make it sound worse for you - I'm sure you have a much better chance than I do.
