So I just got back from a housewarming my little sister threw.
I sort of got hemmed into a corner with one of the only attractive female attendees, and we hit it off easily enough. We would've done so anyway even had I not gotten into game, the difference being I made sure I didn't establish too much comfort (we've had the same life experiences). I'd first met her 6 years ago when I dropped by her place to collect my sister. She recalled her mum cooking me breakfast that day despite my polite refusal (I knew her brother through university). What had once been a plain, almost chubby-looking 19 year old had matured into a lithe-bodied HB8 with a cute face— those features being offset by our equivalent of the vocal fry so prevalent among women here; I would've come across her a couple of times over the years at my sister's parties but hadn't taken much notice.
The catch was that she'd brought her best guy-friend (they'd known each other since kindergarten) - let's refer to him as BFF. Despite being the clingy beta sort (we've all met the type, probably have been the type at some point), we maintained friendly chat and I diverted my attention towards him every now and then to throw him off guard.
Fortunately for me, I didn't encounter much male competition despite bad gender ratios and most of the dudes there being tall, jacked and alpha looking. The gathering had auto-segregated into different social classes — as I observed to one of the the others — with the 3 of us forming part of the 'well-heeled' circle.
Before I'd a chance to number close HB8, she, BFF, and 2 of their friends had left early. BFF must've started getting jealous as he had sort of shepherded her out the door before we could exchange goodbyes.
While I gather that approaching in such scenarios, you'd be running your standard social circle game, my main question is: how much of a hazard is it in gaming someone with that degree of separation? As I would anticipate it likely to happen should I either not get the bang or when I eventually break it off — not having an LTR in mind.
I guess it varies between different siblings, but my sister is puritan enough to find the idea of her older brother dating her friends creepy — let alone hooking up casually — especially given a 6-year age gap. (My sister, like much of my family, holds a mixture of red and blue pill beliefs.) This is compounded by her awareness that not LTR-inclined. This particular girl has been one of my sister's closest friends for close to 10 years, despite having gone to different universities. She also gets along particularly well with my Mum.
Quite a number of my sister's friends are attractive too (as she herself is), so my queries aren't necessarily pertaining to this one girl.
