Does anyone here have any info on Lovoo? I searched the forum and didn't find anything on the app. How does the app work? What are the strategies for the app?

I've personally had some good results from Bumble as a secondary app in North America. Also OKCupid is still pretty prevalent though it is more of a "traditional" dating website as opposed to a basic stripped down swipe-and-hookup app.

Cool will include Bumble in the next updade. So it is US and Canada only?
Does OKCupid have an app?

I have no idea what it says badoo for Colombia. Badoo has been dead for a long time there.
Same goes for Brazil. You can easily get over 700 matches there on tinder, not Badoo.
I hate the Tinder thing. 2 reasons.
1 can only use it on a phone which quite frankly I dont like.
2 Tinder isnt even working on my damn phone! At least if I could get it to log in, then I would likely give up my hate but if signing in is this much a problem then I dont like it!
Not being able to access Tinder doesnt seem to make any sense. So maybe my phone is a dud.
What do people recommend? I shall buy a new android in Peru or Bolivia when I get there next month? I think the stupid superpower bs and all the pay pay pay to do anything took down badoo, thats why Tinder is taking it over. Basically to get in touch with lots of people or to at least find prospects without any limit, you dont need to spend a centavo on Tinder, but on Badoo you need to fatten the site with money! I will try both though when I go to Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela too.
I hate needing a phone for Tinder. But I like Tinder because you dont waste a limited allowance of messages sending to girls you dont know if or not will reply. So badoo is good for number of prospects, but the site just plain sucks. The moment I opened it, I knew I hated the utility of it even far more than cupid despite the latter having far less prospects.
All in all, Tinder is free and badoo is not so maybe thats why people wanna use it and I am switching to Tinder too when I get down there. I am not buying a phone here in the US since it will be cheaper for the android there I think.
Overall Tinder is WAY better than badoo. But I dont get why it is only for phones! Tinder cant totally compete with badoo if the latter is accessible on pc and phone and the former only on a phone. But apart from that, Tinder is far better.

I hate you for hating tinder.
Kidding
Try Badoo. It is still fairly big in Latin America and there is also a desktop version.

I can confirm. I sent messages on Badoo and I think the reason I defied past statements regarding a dismal responce rate is that I opened in Engliish. The user in another thread that said he got almost zero replies used Spanish so all his messages were ignored as they must have appeared like a local and not not let them realize this was an american. If they see a message in their inbox like que tal, they wont even bother to look at it because of that. Have a hello, how are you etc so that they see that this is a foreigner among all those peruvian for example, but I end it in Spanish so they also know I can use Spanish too. It seemed to work!
But yes I do think Badoo is dying. The number of girls actually online with the green dot is so small it is hard to find someone to send a message to and wait for a reply. Lots of sign ins, but not many are online at a given time, and they need to be online or they never seem to get your message.

I did and carefully checked out what apps dominate where. but I have to admit I did not read all the posts yet I better get on that!
But I have to admit, it is not good for me to hate Tinder. As long as I can access the thing then it should be good. I really dont understand what happened to my Tinder! it stopped working!! I actually wonder why badoo is still used. You basically have to pay to fully get in contact with people. That can't compete with Tinder where you don't have to pay do use it all the time if you want as long as you dont wanna scan other areas. And even paying for Tinder plus is more worth it than badoos paid stuff. Paying to be able to message on badoo a lot is like trying to keep buying gas to keep a Hummer going!

TL;DR
As far as APPS go, Tinder is king pretty much world wide.
As far as websites go, there is a variety.
There really isn't any "data" to reap. Tinder is the easiest to use and by far the most hypergamous app ever created, therefore it will dominate the industry until something better comes along.
I don't think I've read a single post stating that there's an APP that's more prevalent in any country today than Tinder. Yes, some girls may prefer dating SITES (because they're looking for a "relationship" not a hookup) but in terms of apps? No competition.

My Thoughts:
Ya'll should keep in mind that these lists can change extremely fast. For example when I was in Bangkok in late 2014 Tinder was completely fucking useless compared to Thai Cupid/Friendly, was nobody on it except a few western chick ... When I returned to Bangkok exactly 12 months later Tinder was HUGE, got laid on it nonstop.
I think that initial list is very outdated. For example Badoo was big in Brazil a few years ago but it got overtaken by Tinder. Tinder is huge there now but an app called Happn is really gaining traction and could overtake Tinder in Brazil as Tinder in Brazil is already starting to have a rep of being the fattest and ugliest chicks in the market.
Basically if you're headed somewhere I would depend on asking locals vs depending on what is here because it could change fast.
Also since Badoo is rapidly losing members they have changed the app into a huge fucking scam, it will suck out all your money to talk to bots n' shit, don't get sucked in. Even worse if you're not paying attnetion it will start inviting people to badoo on facebook (possibly family or coworkers) and posting on your facebook wall too. Highly recommend you guys don't mess with Badoo that app and company is total garbage.
Thanks for the heads up. That app is indeed terrible now it seems. Its all about spending money and Tinder is free as much as it is simple. I hate the interface of badoo too.
I googled Happn but dot even got any info from wiki. I read that Happn invades on privacy about location and stuff and I think I wont feel comfortable with it. It is a disaster for a person like me that wants to look new to everyone. I hope it never beats Tinder because I dont like people to find out things other than what you choose to share about yourself. Letting you know who is close enough to you is pretty neat, but letting them know your detailed movement history is taking it too far!

I tried to upgrade my Tinder account to do some recon abroad, but they weren't able to link my Facebook accounts. Apparently, I had a Tinder account awhile ago. Had to get a refund from Apple. Tinder support told me perhaps on a future update...bummer.

How can you "pipeline" in advance when members only see who is in their search range. It is not like a dating site where a person from Omaha can message a girl in Rio. So how does this work then? Will they only find you on there when you are physically located there? Or does swiping in their city make you appear in results when they search?

You get a GPS spoofing app. and voila.
You can also buy a tinder subscription and change your location at will.

Just got the subscription. Fuck it. its just a few dollars a month! lol
Although the unlimited swipes may not be necessary. Once you are in one city, 100 like limit per day seems like a lot anyways. I could go spoof later. Maybe I did not go at it now because I turned one on before and it didnt work!

Unlimited swipes is not the reason you need to buy the Tinder subscription. Or changing your location, as it can be done with a GPS spoofer. The only reason to get Tinder Subscription is to redo a swipe. Tinder's UI is build that way that accidental swipes happen all-the-time. Pretty smart business decision.
Regarding Bumble and its use internationally:
I have used it in the UK (London) and Germany. You can completely forget it there. In Germany you get only like 50-60 profiles, which do look good to be honest, but I haven't had 0 single match. In London there were more profiles and finally I had a couple of matches. Most of them expired. Some wrote "hey" and some shit like that. But all fizzled out after I responded. Not only its completely dependend on the region and culture, but the "feminist" idea of bumble simply does not work in reality. Tinder is still the way to go internationally, while Success with Bumble seems to be limited to the US.

I installed a spoofer. Didnt work. I have an android I bought in the Philippines, I downloaded spoofer. Turned it on, set it to Cuba. Start scanning in the tinder and ..... Still says Manila! Whats going on here?
About undo swipe, I dont see how that is an issue. I never even thought of that as needed. I use it for convenience when I want to take a second look at someone. But never ever have I accidentally swiped left. I have it ingrained in my mind right as automatic. Only when thinking about how you don't like someone then its left. Never made one mistake yet. Don't know where mistakes happen.
And I asked in the other thread, what can you use for Cuba? Did not get a proper answer so maybe this thread is better for that.

After Vinny's request, I copy-paste my post here...
Tinder in London is rubbish right now. Full of overweight, ugly women you don't bang, even if you are completely wasted.
When you open the app you see the usual hottest girls and join the match queue with ticket #5000. Then the monsters parade begins.
Last girl I banged from Tinder a year ago, was a French slut that wanted to try the app and invited me straight to her place. Since then, Tinder has been a complete waste of time. Buying a full membership gives you unlimited swipes and more matches, but no results.
Unfortunately, for a city like London there is no formula or a specific dating app you can get bangs from. It's a combination of luck, game and circumstances. I would say that 80% of my bangs came unexpectedly. What does it mean? I did not put a lot of effort to pull. For example, I matched or texted some girl on Friday afternoon, met her the same night (80%) or next day (20%) and banged her. Simplicity is the key and ability to weed out the time wasters. Avoid like the plague Polish, Indians or Blacks.

I suggest removing Heartbeep under South Korea. I'm a Korean living in Seoul and have never even heard of it.
Tinder is the best option here. There are a few other Korean apps, but I don't think they're worth it and most Koreans use them to meet mostly other Koreans. Some of them don't even have English versions.
With that said, I did meet a Korean girl off Badoo last year. But I'd still only recommend Tinder.
In regards to Malaysia, I was there this March and matched with a handful of girls every day on Tinder, so I wager Tinder there too.
