^ I'm experienced enough to know the difference between solicitors and IOIs on the street. In the instance above, girls either said hello or smiled while walking past me semi-quickly to get to their destination.

Right now I'm at Pulkovo airport, waiting for my flight to Moscow. not much going on this past week. After 2 weeks of Russian, now I can have a very basic conversation in Russian (I've been working hard tho haha).
I'm not too sure about this. But I've noticed that 2 weeks-4 weeks of russian really comes in handy when gaming girls who don't speak English at all. Unless you are super rich and good looking, I doubt these girls who only speak russian would continue the conversation after 2 min of google translation. But when you know a little russian and girls understand what you are saying, they would be more open, even though you are still using google translation 80% of the time.
Yesterday, I checked out the part of spb foreigners usually don't go to. I took metro line 2(blue line i think) going south to second to last stop and checked out the big mall there, gotta say, the talent there was on par with galeria. The good thing is there was way more girls walking alone, and it was not crowded at all, which is good for daygame imo. You definitely got a different vibe there and I liked it a lot.
That's it for now. Will be going out this weekend in Moscow with a couple of guys on the forum and daygaming for a little bit. Also, I have a few dates lined up next week in spb (college chicks just got out of school) and it would be interesting.

A quick update of this past week:
I made a rookie mistake of not changing my real age on tinder first couple of weeks here. Since I changed my age on tinder last week, my matches have been more than doubled. So I’ve been setting up dates and things are looking up.
Add another thing about Rubinshteyna Street. A forum member and I went out for a drink last night (Wednesday) and Rubinshteyna was pretty good. I would recommend this place called Bekitzer. It was full when we got there and it’s got a chill vibe. The girl we met in this place told us it is the best bar on Rubin street. Even after 2 on a Wednesday night, there were still people smoking and chilling outside. ( If you smoke, that would be a huge plus cuz it gives you a perfect opportunity to talk to girls. ) So we randomly chatted up these two girls sitting outside and number closed. One of them was really cute and a solid 8 in my eyes, hopefully I can meet her tonight.
Also, this Saturday is the annual scarlet sails festival. From what I’ve read so far, it seems like a cool event and there will be tons of cute chicks. If you’ve ever been to scarlet sails and would like to share your experience, lemme know.

Seems like face control has been a real bitch for both cities. Would dressing up alleviate that for you?
I'm thinking a collared shirt, black or maroon skinny jeans, suede or plain boots, and either a blazer, leather jacket, or smart pullover.
How old are you, and which age range do you reckon does best on Tinder? I look ridiculously young for my age so online may work in my favour lol.
What are your thoughts on club game versus night game? Are either more fruitful than back home?

^ Good points. But..if you walk in suited alone, you're not going to be potentially judged by the friends you're bringing in too. What if the friends accompanying you "do not look the part?" Few places where I've encountered face control like say in NYC, Dallas, or EE...it was always better to go alone & arrive early. This is from my personal experience of being let into nice places while at the same time not being allowed in therefore learning the hard way.
Don't get me wrong. Doing daygame, building social circles, and banging that way (the primary objective) is great. But when you're in Russia, it's definitely an experience trying the "upscale venues." My advice is based off of people wanting to go that route. When in Rome....

I have not had a problem with face control, but I am older and dress well. If you are younger and not white, make sure you suit up and speak English. Arriving early is a good idea, but if the bouncer doesn't like your look it isn't going to matter. I haven't seen anyone get face controlled at Gypsy. Gypsy might be your best bet if you are having issues getting into clubs.

^ English is essentially a must "if you're not white." Lot of trendy places serve dinner so calling in for a reservation is a good idea since upscale restaurants have English speaking receptionists over the phone too.

This past weekend:
Friday: a forum member and I checked out Buddha bar. Too bad neither of our dates could join us. We got a table like Brosemite suggested and got there around 10.30pm. It's def the most high end place in SPB but it's actually not that expensive compared to a lot of places in the US. We got some wine and some food and ended up spending about 50 bucks each. The dj was really good and we liked the vibe a lot. They had live performance starting around 12 and it was dope.
Unfortunately it was just not popping that Friday. Like the waiter said, you really don't know why. The Friday before was good acorns to him. We stayed around 2AM and the place was quite empty the whole time. But it was good that we checked it out and I would suggest you to go there once if you have the time.
Saturday: because it was the scarlet sail festival, it was crowded everywhere. Our first stop was at Rubinsteyna street and the street was full of people, in a good way. This past week we have been chilling at Rubinsteyna a lot and lots of locals say it's prob one of the best spots to be during weekdays and weekends, and we would agree.
Later we went to Santa barbara again since my dude hasn't checked it out yet. We got a table for around $300, and the talent was alright like the last couple of times. But the story of the night was my dude met a girl he matched on tinder. He messaged her but she didn't reply (later we found out she deleted her account). They recognized each other at the club and it just clicked. He is gonna spend some more time with her in Ukraine. Pretty good story.

Also, I gotta take back what I said the first week about online game here being a complete bust. After 3 weeks, I do think online game would be a good complement if you don't speak russian or don't have the strongest daytime. I met a few chicks through Tinder and had a great time. One thing to note is I learned from talking to those girls, that they do know a lot of the foreigners are here looking for ONS. So take this into account when you are gaming them. Russian girls are nowhere near easy. But at the same time, they are really fun to be with imo.
Another thing, one thing I kinda hated but also enjoyed was the inability of Russian girls to say no when you ask them out. I've been chatting with a couple 8's for a while, (I even met one of them in person at rubinsteyna, I opened her and we had a nice convo). We always have nice convos on whatsapp but whenever I mentioned things like "when are you free to meet" or "do you have plans tonight/tomorrow", they always kinda disappear. I had to sit back for a while and tried again. Don't get me wrong, I sometimes enjoyed it. But now since my time here is coming to an end, I would prefer a straightforward answer.
My strategy here has always been focusing on the 7s & 8s because that's the reason i'm here. maybe this only happens to 7s/8s. I'm not sure. Lemme know what you think.
